Future is untold the past cannot change, our long bomb and team dysfunction distorts all stats to increase ones point. If a team is harmonious everyone looks like a better, faster more skilled player

We are now proceeding down the road of recruiting a plethora of list cloggers. Been down this road before. I would be chasing CJ from Hawthorn and maybe Rachele.

Rachele ? Yeah nah. Wouldn't take much to convince me he's a flog.

Case in point : Adelaide's season is having the last rites administered. Rachele kicks a junk time goal. Starts jumping around like the energiser bunny in a '' look at me, look at me'' moment. His 17 team mates couldn't have been more underwhelmed. Plus his his annoying habit during the season of running to and high 5ing the crowd if he kicked anything resembling a meaningful goal.
Flog !

Fair to assume Petracca to GC rules out their play for Charlie.

Apparently we've told Burton no.
I thought he could've been good depth, interesting to see what we have in the pipeline.

Bit of positive energy goes a long way.

Harris Andrews, case in point.

Sorry, I meant I'm interested to see.
As a question.

From AFL website

12:35pm - Carlton receives Silvagni compo

Carlton has received Pick 19 as compensation for losing Jack Silvagni as a free agent to St Kilda.

Not bad.

I'll take that any day of the week.
But they could've added both his and TDKs together and gave us 2 picks after our first.
Just being greedy though.

He is probably the only one I could deal with. Find him hard to hate, just a proper footballer.

OK. And Daicos

agree. id happily have Elliot in my side.

i actually have some sympathy for diacos too. he doesn't ask for the attention, but the media build him up so much its hard to not dislike him. its so over the top. both of the diacos boys are elite.

to the compo at hand.

the whole thing is balls.

i read an article about it how West Coast & Brisbance have rorted it to their advantage.

West Coast will end up with Pick 2, when they should only end up with Pick 20 (taking into consideration Starevich incoming)
Brisbane make out even better, getting Pick 19 for Starevich, when they would otherwise get nothing (Draper and Allen incoming)

Meanwhile, we lose two players that will both cost more than what other either sides are paying and we will end up with 7 and 19 (before father sons etc..) ...

AFL can get [REDACTED]. stupid system.

Did Greg Swann make that call…

Except that Harris Andrew’s celebrates team triumphs and behaviours they all want to encourage including what many might see as minor such as a fist spoil or a missed shot at goal just “because it was the right option to take so do it again next time”

Mate, that’s absolutely what should’ve happened.

The age component of the Silvagni compensation is peak AFL. A five year deal is a five year deal. Age of the player is redundant.

26yo v 28yo. Give us a spell.

We lost two blokes to the same club. $1.3m, 6.5 years average.

That’s the flaw in the system. We deserved much better compensation just from the TdK contract alone. Just plain bias system to suit there preferences.

I think someone already brought this up, but Will Hayward is keen if he has to be part of the Curnow trade.

Quote:
Sydney forward Will Hayward says he’d be open to being part of a blockbuster trade to Carlton for Charlie Curnow, but he’d prefer to remain at the Swans.

Sydney is seen as the most likely landing spot for Curnow as the Swans prepare to ramp up their pursuit of the Blues superstar when the trade period officially begins next week.

Curnow also has interest from Geelong, who has limited trade collateral, and Gold Coast, who has Christian Petracca and Jamarra Ugle-Hagan on its radar.

Hayward re-signed with the Swans last year when he was a free agent on a new five-year deal, with the Blues one of the clubs that were keen on luring the South Australian.

The dynamic goalkicker is now among the Swans to be linked to a potential Curnow trade, though discussions haven’t developed in a meaningful way.

The Article in HS went a bit further in that he said he was a bad fan of Vossy and he nearly went to Carlton last year
