Yes. We lost.

Kennedy won a premiership with WC. Judd won nothing except a Brownlow with us.

Gold Coast need their picks for their academy players anyway. So it won't happen like this.

Carlton’s Jesse Motlop is expected to stay on a two- year deal. Excellent progress recently with an official signature now considered a formality.

No, no and no. Curnow is under contract.

Players shouldn't sign contracts if they think in 2-3 years' time down the track they might have a tough season. Every footballer has tough seasons. Wayne Johnston had a back complaint all through 1985...was miserable.. it impacted his form obviously... had an operation came back and was a star player.

The nepo-baby up on the Gold Coast shall not be fed! If the Gold Coast want to play then really ram it down their throats... Hand over both of their prime academy picks Zeke Uwland (pick 1) and Dylan Patterson (pick 5-10), a future 1st round draft pick, future 2nd and a top notch established player. Make them really feel some pain.
(This deal isn't even possible anyway as GC aren't in a position to "trade" their two best academy players in this way)....so there is no way GC can get it done.

Geelong will not once again get to pick the eyes out of other clubs either. Whatever happens, Curnow cannot go to Geelong.

Walters plus what though? That's the issue

They need their picks.

We likely aren't interested in anyone else on their team (that's reasonable to ask for, that is).

Unless they decide to say @#$%&! it, we'll lose some of our academy players to take Charlie. Not sure how else it happens.

I’ve seen him play basketball and is very athletic. If he brings that to the footy field - a big yes from me.

if they see their window is 2026-27, they could and should move some academy players for CC. no point endlessly topping up on talent for tomorrow, if you want to win today.

i love charlie, but i'd trade high. his 25 season was disinterested and distracted. we can ill afford a 26 and beyond season of charlie giving half efforts bcos he doesn't want to be here.
