They can all GAGF. I’m sick of these players who want want want want and then have a dummy spit when times get tough. Cry me a @#$%&! river.

Maybe dig back through the archives and you might see what I'd do to ensure we got Butters in his draft year. I'd also have culled Docherty years ago. Cripps I'd have got rid of after his first Brownlow. I'll stand by that. Would definitely do it now. Meanwhile, you're holding onto two key forwards who don't worry the top 10 teams in the league. Sometimes the writing is on the wall.

Wake up. We're a bottom 8 club. Replenish the list.

I think it is fair and reasonable for us paid members to pose the question ‘what the @#$%&! has gone on at the club in the past 12 months?’.

Can mitigate all you like but from the outside looking in and taking in to account our onfield performance, it is so far from an elite professional environment as can be.

It is obvious they went into list rebuild last year and the players have got he shits

They left the senior players on the list in the lurch by not topping up to have a crack

They dont want to go through another rebuild and bottom out - so they are bailing out

They are relentless. We are a very popular club arent we.

I don't ever remember a time when the media was so obsessed with a club.

Would definitely consider that....the good thing is a club must overpay if they want Curnow or McKay.

How are the Swans getting pick 2? Warner?

Blues star Curnow’s trade request denied
By Jake Niall and Sam McClure
Updated August 28, 2025 — 2.52pmfirst published at 11.22am

Carlton superstar Charlie Curnow’s request for a trade away from the Blues has been flatly rejected by the club.

The star forward told the Blues of his wish to move to another club at his exit interview on Thursday. But he was told that he would not be traded, according to three competition sources with knowledge of the situation.

Either all of the media are lying or Charlie has been.

Ah, the great TC tradition of rounding ages up or down depending on the point one is trying to make.

H is 27 turning 28 in December
CC is 28 turning 29 in February
EG is 23 turning 24 in July

No 7-year differences to be found here, and we haven't even discussed how KPFs tend to peak later.

So at the start of the season Charlie is 29 and 1 month and Gulden is 23 and 8 months.

The point being do you want five years and maybe 100 games from player A or 10 years and maybe 200 games from player B?

I’d still take Gulden in a heartbeat.

And move Frankie Evans to centre half-forward.

Would fans still boo him if it turns out he got his old man sacked again?

A month ago ........ out of the mouths of babes....

"I obviously want to be here," Curnow told reporters after Carlton's 24-point loss to Hawthorn on Thursday night. "I don't really want to make this about me right now, but I'm playing at Carlton next year. There you go. Done."

WTF is going on here.

If Charlie has told the club that he wishes to move to another club, and I believe it because there has been no denial from either Club or Curnow, then I am flabbergasted. :hitcomputer: :hitcomputer:

If he has changed his mind in a month and gone all flakey, then happy to take serious offers.

Let's see what the other 17 clubs think he is worth. Pick #1 from Eagles plus their first rounder next year (Prob #1)......Sign me up. Plenty of surf in WA Charlie. Will Duursma come on down.

Strange days.

Regards Cazzesman

A byproduct of 4-5 management groups running the whole show.

Players, coaches, media.

Duursma's don't age well. Dominate at underage level, but are just glorified Morton's.
