Honest, measured. Tells it like it is.
Get the right people around this bloke and I think he's the leader this club needs.
Now if he could just get the players to put the leather thing between the two big wooden things more often than the opposition he’d be the perfect coach.

Very true. But that's the people you put around him.
Feedback I get from Collingwood is McRae does very little of the strategic or development works. He empowers good people and manages them. Same with Fagan at Brisbane.
The past 2 premiers? It seems to work well.
Chris Scott admits he has also handed over more of the match day decision making to others.
The game has gone well past having a senior coach who makes all the decisions. It's more about having a quality leader manage roles and getting team unity and high quality outcomes.
The more I see of Voss, the more I think he's that person. Bring in someone else and we're 3 years behind immediately IMHO. He'll trust the players, give them opportunities to redeem themselves and we'll be in this position again. Voss now knows the players can't do it for him if they have the control. They've burnt him as they've done with others.
Now he can look at it through a far more rational, calculating and ruthless lens. That's exactly what we need.
