Actually feel bad for him now. The players have totally checked out after one single really bad season.

Sacking him isn't the magic bullet.

I actually don't think the players have checked out. I think they are not that clever and have very poor skills and decision making ability.
We have recruited dumb football players with poor skills.
They bust their arse but are not that good.

It could be that we are playing to much youth and don't have enough 4,5,and 6 year players on the list and the ones we do have are out

It is close to half the first choice team sitting in the stands
Add to this your first choice ruckman has chosen to leave and playing like it.

I don't rate Voss/assistants that highly but I think a lot of those points are correct.

Hit the nail on the head

Too much reliance on our better players. It was never sustainable as a good system is more important than a bunch of star players who can win games off their own boot.

Voss sat on his laurels and should have realised we weren’t ready to contend as the foundation for success wasn’t there. In fact the club continually gets this wrong.

I do feel for Cripps as I don’t think he could have done much more for the club. Unfortunately now tainted with the loser tag.

The problem with the game plan...

It requires Cripps to be in Brownlow form...
It requires Curnow to be in Coleman form...
It requires Weitering to be in AA form...

...to have any chance. We lose these 3 to LTI's and then we're truly [REDACTED].

Players unavailable is an issue but there's problem with treating an injury list amount as an arbitrary number. Most players you should be able to replace as the next man up... in a proper system based plan.

We all know it’s done. Voss more than likely does too.

Making him do the pressers, particularly after another inept performance, is incredibly weak and gutless by Priestley, Cook, Lloyd and Wright.
