the way you guys are all talking about the club and where it's going/ gone wrong. you'd think we were third on the ladder.

we have a culture of losing and peaheartedness. nothing has changed since the days of Sugar Kane Lucas.

Nah, Sidefx was right that the article was pablum, even though it contains some truth. I was just chuckling at his need to emphasise the source cuz he's a butthurt (in the BUTT!) LNP voter :D

I despise the guy, but I wonder if anyone is watching Ross Lyon changing the culture and even his game plan …………. Just makes me puke.

A bit too obscure to me as I don't pay attention to the Aints. Is Lyon actually changing their culture and game plan or are you being sarcastic?

Ahhhhhh well, we can't all like eating trash for breakfast from a news agency that thrives on gutter politics, disinformation and outright inept journalism.
I get it's palatable to a certain type, but that type also can't see past their own nose, just watch out for the reach around is all I can say.
This lot are planing on taking it out of your kids pockets, you just haven't seen it yet. :wink

I’m confused with your position.

So it’s not The coach?

They can talk “alignment” and “values” and “contest and clearance” until they’re blue in the face. Facts trump waffle. The facts are this team has won eight of its past 24 games. It’s beaten one top eight team in that period. Its players are tired, hesitant, slow, terrified of making mistakes and wedded to an obsolete gameplan. Its leaders are like Leslie Nielsen in front of the exploding fireworks factory.

OK. I read that.

I’d love to hear your take on this quote.

What is it exactly he is saying?

How does he know all these things he’s taken a stab at?

Do you know the credentials of Jonathan Horn? He’s a plagiarist. A low end sports writer. Expert at nothing.

Presents with lines…it can, or, it may…. Them presents like th above, he knows footy, and knows the answers to questions th3 great scribes can’t answer

At this minute, the only fact I can put my hat on is we lose every game with more than 8 out missing, and we win everything with less than 8 missing. We had 5 missing against Cats.

The reason for that? The answer is in the players selected to replace the injured. Undeveloped kids.

Everything else is guesswork

How do you measure Lyons success? It can’t be games won.

Do you like the way he talks on tv?

Are you upset Sayers didn’t get him to coach us?

SOS is the guy rebuilding their list. He’s got a war chest. Heard that before?

it is 100% the coach & coaching. this list has barely changed from the 2023 one. we need more balance, less replication and some dynamic players which will allow us to play where all the modern data is suggesting success comes from.

it's the dept. in charge of our list too. bringing in a rookie like jagga, was never adding to what we already had. imo that was plain negligence/ stupidity/ arrogance to think we where there and it was time to stockpile for the future.

a couple better runners - wing and a mid, a few better ball users espesh a HB, a couple dynamic game-changing small forwards. and of course, a better coach with a system players can believe in, and believe in themselves again, with.

the 2023 run came about bcos players believed and played for each other. that is well and truly gone. lets watch what a connected unit like collingwood do to us tomoz night. it's night and day, from the coach down.

i'd also overthrow much of the board and where ever this rusted on arrogance comes from (that we actually still matter) to try and somewhat revolutionise the culture here.

So it's 100% the coach, 100% the players, 100% the list management and 100% the board.

I think you have everyone who could possibly be at fault covered with that statement.
