There was a game we played against them a few years ago & Malthouse broke a coaching record or something. Dale Thomas missed a set shot direct in front. Our players didn't try & we lost by 10 goals

This game is giving me those vibes.

If I was Voss, I would calmly explain that any player who bombs it into the forward line, unless it is to a clear 1-1 or better will spend the next 10mins on the bench.
And any player in the F50 who remains motionless as the ball is coming in can go and spend the next 10 minutes in the backline.
(Probably explains why I am not a senior coach.)

The Pies will toy with us and either humiliate us by 100+ or keep us at arms length and win by 4-6 goals

I don’t care if we lose as long as we stay connected

Geez , wouldn't it be great to bring this mob crashing back to earth with a thud . If there ever was a game to do it for the Coach this is the game . These blokes have repeatedly let Voss down there so called whole hearted support . Time for action , not hollow words . Hollywood Blues ? more like the Hollowood Blues .

OUT: Saad, Wilson, Weitering, Docherty, Motlop
IN: Cowan, Carroll, O’Farrell, B.Camporeale, White

B: Cowan Silvagni O’Farrell
HB: Carroll Haynes Boyd
C: Hollands Camporeale Acres
R: De Koning Cerra Hewett
HF: McGovern Cripps White
F: Williams Curnow L.Young

I: Cincotta Lord Fogarty F.Young
S: Fantasia

Saad, Wilson & Weitering out injured. Motlop dropped. Could’ve kept Docherty in as the sub, but I would rather see Ben get a run.

Cripps at CHF is going to get horribly exposed & that’s ok by me. I’d also punt Lewis Young without hesitation & play the skipper as 2nd ruck to really give him the Jesus treatment, but five changes is enough.

Was off for most of the last quarter.

Pulled up quick in his kicking action.

As far as naming a side how about we wait till the magoos get a chance to strut there stuff against Port Melb on Saturday night . Great opportunity for a keen and ambitious young bloke to put his hand up . I"ll be watching with great interest . Be great if Lemmey and Moir showed something . Also Cowan will be the one I would like to see play a good game . Lachie is one with a bit of shit in him and if ever we were crying out for a bloke like that is now . And Lachie runs straight . He don't cut corners .

If we can beat the Pies next week… It will go a long way in redeeming the disappointment of the past two weeks.

Unfortunately I just don’t see it happening.

Hope springs eternal for some... think I'll go to the You Am I gig at the Chelsea Heights hotel.
