it’s not just players like Doc playing past their retirement date. this is a total lack of confidence steaming through the club all year like a pandemic virus. there’s players who are capable of not just good football but amazing football who are just flogging it so badly every game now.

from the St Kilda game where we made very hard work of it we’ve gone down hill. from Essendon* game onwards it’s been collectively garbage level performances from nearly every single player.

it’s got to be cultural, which includes a lack of good leadership from the coaching suite. our best 10 players would get AFL games at top 4 clubs. heck even Kennedy and Jack Martin are getting regular games at good clubs and they weren’t even worth hanging on to apparently.

Just to remind you all, Port are currently 12th on the ladder. That’s how bad we are. Let that sink in
