We still haven't won a game this year with 8 or more unavailable players. Today we had 9.

That's still a factor in our losses and points its finger directly to Recruitment. I can see some BIG changes happening come years end.

In the meantime I'll root for my team to make finals. Because they can. Doesn't mean they will.

Really?
You really have faith that it's going to change?
I wish I was having what you're having.
Brad lloyd and Vet mckay have been presiding over a slow motion train wreck for years
Not mention icke

Nothing changes

Zero intensity... Broken tackles for 3 quarters like we were under 10s..
Pretty much it...

I have suspected from the outset that the club really didn't think a lot of this list so are building a new list with
Jagga
Walker
Dean
Campo twins
O'Farrell
and whoever else they can get.

I have said for years and I'll say it again, we [REDACTED] it up making Curnow the FF - we have turned a talent into a prima donna.
I would have traded Harry
We will never be good with Acres/Fog/Fantasia/Doc/Motlop in the side - maybe 2 of them...no more.

I believe losing Kemp and Hollands just highlights this poor list - no speed, no outstanding small, a midfield that is just same paced.

Next year then!

Add Wilson and Young to that list of players who should get a run next week after their efforts
I disagree with you that you think the club thought the list wasn’t good enough from the start.
It’s the other way. That’s why we traded away a first and second rounder plus Kennedy and Owies to get pick 3
Smacks of arrogance which is typical of this club
I don’t know if you watch the magoos but we do have some decent kids but it takes time for these kids to develop. And it’s hard on those kids when you have serious leadership non existence
In relation to off field matures Vince from the jumper punch said that when the club did a review a few years ago orchestrated by Sayers it was in actual fact Sayers wanting to get rid of Teague and Liddle to get Cook and Lyon
Lyon didn’t get the job because Paddy Kinnersly didn’t approve Lyon’s appointment because of a complaint made by a female Fremantle employee towards Lyon based on a sexual nature
She was paid $100000 to shut up but the story got out
So Sayers went back to Lyon and Lyon couldn’t be bothered going into a lengthy interview process
StKildas loss plus his mate SOS is now their list manager
No review of Lloyd or the football department
No review of List Management
What does that tell you about running an organization
Why am I telling you this
Because if you have the wrong person as President you are [REDACTED]
No illusory correlation there mate particularly when Sayers was boss of PWC a company who was leaking confidential tax info to
Other companies

So who takes over
Another finance guru who had to resign from his post because of the dodgy dealings with ANZ
And he bases himself in Sydney

We need to get away from this type of President
Surely there is someone out there who is successful at what they do isn’t dodgy who is a people person
I’ve been saying it for years
It’s all starts at the top
And why not a women

Shit flows downstream
Unless there is a fundamental shift in culture we won’t go anywhere

One hundred percent it starts at the top Keogh . You need a top notch President and a top notch CEO or you are dead in the water . Before anything .

Its the fact we have got good kids in the VFL that makes me think the way i do - its why i think they let Kennedy and Owies go (not going to win with them), its why i think they went after Jagga, so you see keogh its just my perception and your perception, and the future will tell the tale.

Well unfortunately that was a very depressing day at the G for us.

Don’t think we’ll be back any time soon. Maybe after the next unsuccessful rebuild.

So many emotions. So many thoughts.

Could write an essay but frankly too bloody depressed.

Supposed to be contending and we aren’t far from the worst team in the league.

It was very interesting being an interstater there today. The toxicity is well and truly back in all facets of the club. All self inflicted.

Bottom line is this. We should be way better than this. Unacceptable to be where we are at this stage of the build and Voss’ tenure.

Change must happen now.

Sorry your trip over was so disappointing.
Very depressing at the moment and so frustrating.
While I understand the supporters anger I didn't think it was necessary to boo the team.

Maybe it was..............let's see if it gives them a reality check on their value at the club.

Today signalled the beginning of the end for Voss, I have no doubt. And it's absolutely the fault of the players. But it's also the fault of his assistants. And ultimately it's his own fault because whatever it is that the best coaches going around have that extracts the best out of a playing group, Voss doesn't have.

Today's performance was nothing short of a @#$%&! disgrace

Kennedy is going ok
Go on with your intellect
Doesn’t wash
The fact is its results industry in the end
And in the last 25 years its failed
Why
It’s starts at the top
Anyone with any intellect knows that
As recruiting its a your eggs in one basket approach
Levi Ashcroft was regarded as the best mid in the draft
He is ok but has tapered off
Kennedy may be All Australian

Yes but there is no way known Kennedy plays to this level in our system.

Whenever we point to ex Carlton players that go on to do great things we assume that we are missing out.

The truth is they do great things because they leave us.

At Carlton, Josh Kennedy's career would have been over at the end of his first contract.

Shaun Grigg? Captain of the bullants.

Nick Holman? Nick who...?

Only saw about half the game, was driving for the second half

You could just sense North gradually getting their tails up in Q2 but tbh they'd probably spent the whole week feeling confident.

We let a bottom 4 team completely sap our confidence. Need multiple changes for the Port game

exactly ... this is why we remove voss and make way for a better system. in 2023 when we manically played on at all cost, we hit targets, disposal efficiency was up. most players like playing fast, more instinctual, less thinking time etc.

our skills aren't that bad, but our system is.

But removing Voss won’t necessarily remove the ‘we don’t do this at Carlton’ mindset which seems to be deeply rooted in the club’s culture which seems to relish a premiership from 30 years ago.

what on earth are you on about?

Ashcroft going okay?

All I am saying is you know nothing of current bloke apart from that he is from finance, that's it but because he isn't a she he must be [REDACTED]..stupid thinking really.

Me, I have no idea if he is any good, no idea if a new president would make a difference or not, just saying I thought we were overstating this list and suspect the club may have come to the same conclusion last year. Of course we will never know.
