Can someone explain how a guy has 272 more metres gained than any other player on the ground and doesn’t get in the votes

Maybe he wasn't damaging enough.
But yes, this is a bit odd.
843m is quite impressive.

The WC kid playing his first game also was worth a vote . This time last year he was playing for Highett in 3rd division southern league . Incredible effort I thought .

AS we have learned at the end of the 2022 2023 & 2024 season, percentage is critical.
If we are playing for Finals, we missed that.

Vossy did say he wanted to keep up intensity, and Charlie said they couldnt play that way for 4 quarters...how about slowing it down for a quarter, the third to get our breath back after a rest in the sheds and turn it on in the last, for percentage?

That was my thought too. Why not turn it on for a burst in the last and just bury the game and rack up some %? Conditions were shitty but the Eagles were the team to do it against.

I thought Cripps started the last quarter on fire and seemed pissed off, but then the rest of the team weren't following him and he stopped

I rewatched the game and we definitely put the queue in the rack in the last.

Well done Binns  Played his best game for the club.

So glad Cincotta got recognition.

I can live with McQalter giving his boys 1 and 2 votes.

Who gave him the votes?
One gave 3, the other 0 and Gov the 3

Some posters think the coaches are the be all to end all. I find that strange given coaches don’t agree with each other.

Pumping up the tyres of their own. Too much bias from coaches. Rarely do people agree with coaches votes,

,That’s why I prefer to read the votes from outside than the coaches. Coaches look at roles performed whereas punters vote on total performance

Reid wasn’t worth a vote….imo.
I’m glad Binns got votes, but I had 5 or 6 players ahead of him.

Sometimes I feel coaches don’t take voting that serious. I don’t know why anyone would take them as gospel.

How about a few TCers giving us their best 5 Carlton players in MVP thread. I value your opinion and it’s our award.
