I’m not advocating we sack Voss buts an example of name wins
By the way Wright had no interest in Voss coaching Collingwood
Presidents
Geez you opened a can of worms there
Priestly I won’t pass judgment yet except he hasn’t been it he limelight which can be good sign
Luke Sayers a guy whose company was involved in in a government tax scandal which involved employees losing their jobs
He pleaded no knowledge at a government inquiry resigns then forms his own company
Meanwhile he decided to have complete review of the footy club
In words only
Truth is it was about getting rid of Liddle and Teague and replacing them with Cook and Lyon
There was zero review of the footy department Lloyd or anyone else
This guy has zero credibility
Of course he ain’t the first guy to crash due to the power of the pussy but hey he shouldn’t have been our President in the first place judging by his time at Price Waterhouse Coopers
Wouldn’t it be refreshing to have someone at the helm who cares about people before themselves
Degrading a win
Too right I will
It’s a national competition
Essendon** like us haven’t adjusted to the rules that have been in place for 25 years
And they had a third of their team out

There's a Vossy thread.
I'm going to copy this to that thread.

So I went back in time

Cutting to the chase SOS gave away Zac Tuohy and a future second rounder( ironically Lachie Fogarty)

Billie Smedts
Polson
Williamson
Kerr
In effect we gave a very good player who went on to play close to 300 games for 6 spuds
Marchbank was ok when fit but nothing on Zac Tuohy
You half defended him because he was employed buy the Carlton Football Club
As soon as he fell out with Liddle and dropped a shitload on the club on SEN he became public enemy number one to you

Ummmmmmmm Keogh me old cobber..........Any denigration of SOS you wish to post is 100% fine by me. I worked with him for one year and he spoke to me twice. I won't speak ill of him, but let me just say I was happy to hand in my notice.

I left because SOS cut ALL the part-timers pay by 1/2, to pay for his mate Paul Brodie. The irony is that years later he and Brodie had a massive falling out and no-longer speak. Karma.

I don't recall defending SOS at the time, but if you say so. I'm not big on airing dirty laundry.

Just as an aside, your favourite Mr. Wells asked me if I needed a job. I said thanks, but no thanks.

For Info, Andrew Mackie took over as the Geelong List Manager from Wells at the end of 2021. Wells slid back to the Recruitment Manager.

But it proves you were wrong with your assumptions, and your "facts".

How about an apology to Cazz, after casting dispersions that, for all we know, may cut deep.

Yes we are all human.

Thanks for the support Bondi, but if I let things cut me deep, I would have left TC in about 2005

Have your say Keogh, but it is better if you don't try and improve your argument with fiction over facts or gossip over truth.

If you look back 15 years, all the best Premiership Coaches have been called useless and knives have been drawn for their sacking. Hardwick, Scott, Beveridge, Goodwin and Fagan have all had their haters. It goes with the gig.

Durdin would be pissed to not play two weeks in a row. Surely we’d at least make him sub.

Keogh what on earth are you on about now.

Of course Wells has a huge say in everything. I simply informed you he is no longer the List Manager. Nothing nefarious in my intent, just a fact.

Get to the ground on Sunday, hopefully enjoy a win and tell us all it thereafter.

What difference does a List Manager compared to a recruiting manager mean
Your pathetic
You happy I got his job title wrong
Means Jack shit
Still has the final say according to to Scott on the Agenda Setters
Wells pulls the string which you have inferred
As I said
Pull the splinters out of your arse before the fence collapses
SOS and Austin should never have been employed
We are a dumb club

go and have a lie down keogh.

lets focus on the match ahead, not the past, which, despite wishes, cannot be changed

i find it interesting that young is an emergency. i wonder if one of our talls might get a day off?

Come on keogh, you’re obviously on mushrooms. I reckon Gold Tops.

Why can’t you just accept what Cazz says on face value. I think he was genuinely informing all of us.

Re Nick Austin. He came highly credentialed.
He was an experienced recruiting manager and list manager.

He helped build the Bulldogs premiership list, they won a flag.
Prior to doggies premiership year he was the list manager at Richmond where, he used his recruiting IP with his list management, similar to what Wells must be doing now I understand a bit of his role from Cazz and you reference from Agenda Setters, and Richmond won 3 flags.

Tigers were still on top of their game when we lured him to replace SOS.

Austin had great credentials before he replaced SOS.
It could easily be argued he’s had more success that Wells when you factor number of years divided by number of flags.

Did you not want Austin when you heard he was coming to Carlton? If so, on what grounds?

I’m watching the Dogs dismantle Saints.
We should have beaten Dogs with Darcy.
We had them on toast
Our kicking for goal cost us. Skill error.
Other than that, we won all over the ground except set shots.

If we can bring the heat and work the angles as we did in the first qtr and bring the speed we could smash Eagles.

Recent form tells us Eagles are not the push over they were, but I have a feeling the players will be a tad sharper having reviewed the game against Effendopes.

As expected, if Harry didn’t get up, no change.

Could see Boyd come in for Carroll or Durdin for White.

White isn’t going to be sub 2 weeks in a row.
Maybe White makes way for

Had 35 points stableford today
Plenty of laughs
Talked a lot about you posters and how pathetic you are
Had a great day
