I left because SOS cut ALL the part-timers pay by 1/2, to pay for his mate Paul Brodie. The irony is that years later he and Brodie had a massive falling out and no-longer speak. Karma.

I don't recall defending SOS at the time, but if you say so. I'm not big on airing dirty laundry.

Just as an aside, your favourite Mr. Wells asked me if I needed a job. I said thanks, but no thanks.

For Info, Andrew Mackie took over as the Geelong List Manager from Wells at the end of 2021. Wells slid back to the Recruitment Manager.

If you look back 15 years, all the best Premiership Coaches have been called useless and knives have been drawn for their sacking. Hardwick, Scott, Beveridge, Goodwin and Fagan have all had their haters. It goes with the gig.
