Yep, they kicked 5.8 to the scum 10.3 after quarter time. Shit game plan and shit kicking almost cost us. Curnow can't chase, give him a spell for McKay. Doc and acres had moments, but mostly crap..mots good but shit the bed when it counted, white came in late and almost cost us. Lots of very dumb, panicked decisions today.
The rot started with SOS kicking out on the full in the second quarter then everyone started shanking
I honestly felt this team expected to lose and were more relieved than happy, just like the saints game, and if that's the case we have no hope against any other team aside from the weagles
We need a new coach or a very good psychologist
A win is a win, but we ain't going anywhere

Nah, how brave were Essendon*???

Why did we change the way we were playing from the first to the second quarter. It's almost like they are.tild to build a good lead then just try and hang on...

I also wanna know how Voss was out coached by the shitter Scott brother

What a shit feeling this game has left me with

Delusional to think otherwise. What have you seen from this group to give you any indication that they are capable of success?

Lucky we rushed cincotta and fantasia back in off zero vfl form.
Wreaks of desperation.
8 disposals between them. Yes cinc was playing a negating role but how many decent teams would bring back 3 or more players off limited prep.

Raz had missed heaps.
Cinc first game.
Williams missed a month or so.

Desperation.

A win is a win, especially against this cheating rabble, but we're so far off the front runners it's not funny.

Love you baggers but we have some work to do.

HOK is definitely worth persisting with

Cerra going off in the 2nd hurt us he was BOG up until then.
Walsh was huge in the last.
Gov not offering anything up forward.
Set shot misses by Curnow and Motlop could have been costly.
White should have given handball off.
Thought HOK had a good first up game.
Acres is a worry but kicked a sensational goal.
Thought Ollie was good.
Weiters still out of sorts
Williams is a special player but goes missing to much.
Charlie is a first quarter player only.
TDK was good.

Really shit win don't have that killer instinct and sides only need to kick a couple of goals and they go to water

Who gives a #$&*. A win is a win is a win. Would you rather we lose regardless. Stupid comment regardless of where the club is at.

We won by 8 behinds. Shit goal kicking again, from some of our best paid players too. That's why it was close.

3.6 to 7.2 in the second half

The first quarter we had the right structure, spread the ground and moved the ball as we wanted. Starting with the contest.
The second quarter we shrunk the ground, when into stoppage game, had a contested forward line and let them back in.
The third quarter the same as the 2nd, only we lost clearances and contests. Panic set in and long bombs going everywhere and anywhere.
The last quarter, we setup with Cripps, Cerra and Walsh in the middle. Won the stoppages and had open forward line and were on top again. We closed the game up in the end once we got 3 goals up.

So in summary - our coaches or the opposition coaches are structuring up to change the game styles, and it’s obvious our execution and composure hurts us in the contested style of play.

Loved HoK’s game. TdK - please sign ASAP. Cerra was great all game and Mots just enjoys playing with Zac.
I’m concerned with Weitering, Saad, Docherty and Acres.
Voss - if you’re going to play Gov, please keep him away from the backline. His errors don’t hurt us as much.

Personally felt like a loss than a win but relieved we got the win.

Have you been spooning with Keogh.

sure we are not flash but we won a game. Would you have preferred we didn’t win? Let us all know what you wanted.

Despite his goal in the last qtr, I thought Acres was terrible and started the rot in the 2nd and 3rd qtr.

He was moving at half pace, the game is so quick now he cant always rely on his strength/body size to get out of trouble. He's hurting us big time.

Will always take a win. Always. Especially against those cauliflower. Just needed the 4 points.

But FMD we make things so hard for ourselves.

Great debut by HOF. Thought Cerra SOS and Haynes were good. Cinc did a handy job on Merrett. Walsh great early. Mots best game for some time.

Other than that, very little to get excited about. Don’t seem to have solved much at all.

Once the game gets taken off our terms, we revert to stagnant long bomb football with zero adjustment from our coaches. Infuriates me along with the deplorable skill level from way too many of our players.

I’ll personally be attending our next 2 games. Coming over for the NM game as a surprise for my sons 21st. Hoping like hell we can find our best form and play four quarters our way.

I saw his game differently, thought he contested well at both ends, gave us an outlet and had 29 disposals with none out on the full. Intercepts, marks, inside 50, metres gained and contested possession numbers all excellent, but the stat I liked best was his 91% time on ground: it's a huge help to the team to have a bloke who can run and contest and not chew up rotations. I gave him 2 MVP votes, his first from me this year I think.

I question you may answer
Do you watch other matches
Like Friday nights game Adelaide v Brisbane
If you did ask yourself can you see the difference
Because it’s stark to me
At least tonight’s game wasn’t as low a standard to the West Coast v North near me at Hands Oval in Bunbury
And we play those two teams in the next two weeks
With Port after that we will be 8 and 7 courtesy of a biased draw

Papering the cracks
I get it
Supporters like you live in hope
You class me and others as prophets of doom
I class myself as a realist
We are miles off it
As for Fantasia
He exceeded my expectations by 2 possessions
He had 5
You know you have no depth when he comes back off little preparation
Voss will continue to play these hacked senior players because he doesn’t want to lose his job

Positives
Cincotta should be never be dropped like what happened in last years final
He won us the game tonight but virtually eliminating Merrett the Bombersonly AGrader to a mere spectator
Martin isn’t far off that
Hudson O’Keefe was good
But a win sometimes ain’t a win
We were absolute shit after quarter time against an average team with almost half its team out

If a win is not always a win, does that mean a loss is sometimes not a loss? Because I'll be buggered if I can remember any of you realists expressing satisfaction after a defeat.

Really disappointed with White and Carrol’s games, they both took a step backward. Hopefully they learn from their mistakes and come back stronger.

HOK belongs in the team, if Harry comes back next week I’d drop Guv to make way.

Good game by Motlop, he tries hard and occasionally the ball will bounce his way like today, I really hope he can play to this level consistently.

I really with they’d just leave Cripps in the fwd line for most of the game.

I like that we won, but I hate the we made the cheats look so brave.

To you and Traveller......................In the grand scheme of things where CFC is struggling, would you rather we start to improve with a loss or a win?

If you want to select A) loss. How many losses do we need to have before the Club can have a win and start to improve in your eyes?

We are an average side. Would you rather we take the win and build on that, or just take a loss and continue to make our way down to #18?

Regards Cazzesman
