We have been cheated on so many times, its not funny.... Its like a Broken relationship where you keep going back to your ex despite them cheating on you year after year!

Carlton has the worst supporter base in terms of making their voices loud and heard. Soft & Illusional. We keep throwing our hard earned Money to feed those morons that runs the club and we get nothing in return.

Biggeest liars on this planet. Cheap words, broken promises and cluless people who don't know how run a football club.

I wonder if Elijah will be right after 3 weeks?
Nothing to suggest he's out or in.

INS - OUTS

Silvagni -O'Farrell...obvious
Boyd- White ... Boyd's attack and run from defence. Too many small forwards
Elijah- Acres...Acres only played one good game this year. Out of form
Cowan- McGovern...need more run and better ground ball work. Effendoped not tall.
Cottrell- Binns...obvious
Williams- Motlop...obvious
Cincotta- Fogarty... too many small forwards and Chinka has more speed and weapons than Fog

The side I selected here is based on the most experienced side we can put out on the park... it's not just the most experienced players we have, but it's based on most players being fit and us selecting our best 'senior' side in the positions they mostly play in.

I was thinking that if our issues are:
Overall pace
The small forwards aren't much good
Delivery into the forward line doesn't advantage the forwards we have that are actually good
Our midfield is playing well, but it's not equalling success

Then perhaps we should do something radical:

DEF:
Haynes - Weitering - Cowan
O. Hollands - Silvagni - Carroll
Wilson
The defence is holding up so I'm not going to mess with it too much. I've basically added Wilson's pace to the mix, and committed Hollands to the backline.

MIDS:
Walsh - Lord - Saad
TDK - Hewett - Cerra
Cincotta
Walsh and Saad on the wings. Saad to play very offensively, Walsh to work back and forth hard. Hewett and Cerra are going well enough. Lord is rewarded for his good form by playing in his natural position. Cincotta comes in to add defensive steel to the midfield.

FWD:
Fantasia - McKay - Curnow
Docherty - Cripps - Williams
McGovern
A forward line that's chock-full of senior players. I know not all of them are natural forwards, but they're all good footballers (yes, even McGovern). Cripps to play third tall, but mostly stay at home. Curnow to roam up and down the ground, getting involved all over the field. Docherty to lock down on their rebounding defenders.

INT & SUB:
Acres - experience and endurance?
White - pace?
F. Young- pace & skill?
Durdin - pace and goal sense?
Boyd - decent kick, extra defender?
E. Hollands - skill?
Cottrell - pace and endurance?

There are two spots left to fill - do you go with pace / skills / goals sense? A player who can cover multiple positions? Another senior player who can add experience?

So the side ends up:

B: Haynes - Weitering - Cowan
HB: O. Hollands - Silvagni - Carroll
C: Walsh - Lord - Saad
HF: Fantasia - McKay - Curnow
F: Docherty - Cripps - Williams
R: TDK - Hewett - Cerra

INT: Cincotta - McGovern - Wilson - ?
sub: ?

If the Bombers play the say way they did last night against Brisbane, then we got no chance... Their kids are going to give us Yet another lesson!

Play Young ( The new Recruit ), no point in putting him in the VFL- he is not new there!

If the Bombers beat us with that uncontested, bruise free footy, then the coaches can start to hand in their resignations.

The MCG has announced that this match is now a fully ticketed game.
If you haven't done so you will need to upgrade to a reserved seat.

Mate, they can all go get Stuffed.... What the AFL is doing to Fans this year is Criminal....

I went to buy a ticket as I only attend 1-2 Games per year and they are asking me for $100 Bux.... Are they for real?

What am I attending? A Michael Jackshon Special? or a game of Footy between two crap Teams?

Last year, i went to the same Game and paid $50 for my seat... how could they double that up in one year? How does the average middle Class fan with kids can afford paying this sort of Money? Has the Game become only for the Rich & Exclusive club?

I just had a look on ticketek. Not many options left but there are some for $62 on level 4 towards the back.

Yes. round 16-23 tickets go on sale for members at 12pm tomorrow. Ticketek may go into meltdown as tickets for the Ashes go on sale at 2pm. Not very well planned.

Walsh, Cerra and Hewett is clearly Carlton's most successful centre bounce clearance combination this season – 17 wins and four losses when together – and they have the best winning rate as a trio in the competition at 45 per cent (because they win the clearance 59 per cent and lose it 14 per cent). The next best trio in the AFL? The Dogs' rolled-gold guns Marcus Bontempelli, Tom Liberatore and Ed Richards (29 per cent).

Speaks for itself.

Cripps has been a good inside mid this year but his best work is in games he kicks goals. Coaches votes show that, but is that for the damage he has done forward or his work in the midfield?

I would like to see Crippa start at FF, with Charlie and Harry doing most of their work around 50.

I don't mind paying membership, but trying to get tickets from Ticketek with our Membership just lands us crap seats. Sydney is Ok coz you can move around freely, even upstairs to get a good view.

I always buy Reserve at MCG or Marvel, and I get why Agro buys an AFL Membership rather than a Carlton Membership. The seating is far more superior with AFL Membership.

Been on a waiting list for better Reserve seats, for years now, but club doesn't give you any idea how that queue is moving along, like MCG for instance, and who knows how many the club have pushed ahead of me. I came back from summer holiday to receive an email stating if I didn't renew my tickets before Dec something, whilst I was away, I would lose my spot. TBH couldn't give a stuff about the queue anymore.

After more than 30 years of continuous Membership and my kids since birth, I'm going to have to rethink this. I will continue to buy tickets for friends and their kids as part of my brainwashing, but when in Melb I'm going to have to tell them I'm not a Carlton Member anymore, but an AFL Member with Carlton as my team.

i said this a few weeks ago. walsh, cerra and hewett need to be in the centre and send cripps forward like cats do with dangerfield.

then wheel a fresh cripps through the middle during the 4th qtr where he can play as much hero ball as his heart desires.

You did, and I didn't mind it then, and I don't mind it now. In fact, I want to see Vossy move the magnets a bit this week, starting with this.

I love the idea of unleashing the beast 5 mins towards the end of Q1-3, then a huge 4th from him.

Everyone back from injury, with the exception of Newman Smith Kemp and Elijah

Cottrell didn't train on Saturday, neither did Doc. Cripps had a few extra days off. Harry didn't train with main group.

Doesn't mean Cottrell isn't available. I want him in on a wing, but wouldn't be surprised if he has his first game in a while in the VFL.

Gov was the face of Carlton in pregame media commitments yesterday, so he's probably in, although I think I'd prefer Cowan or even Cincotta ahead of him. Love the idea of Chinka back tagging their distributor from HB, or Merret if he plays midfield this week.
