They werent playing like this in the preseason.

Was methodical and honouring short passes. Diagonal passes. Backward passes. I saw a bit last night in the first quarter when we were taking our time, trying to open up the angles and avoided bombing it in...then they changed back to old habits....maybe GWS forced them that way....don't know for sure...Geez, talk about different in the preseason, the Mids were all defending.

As for Cripps burning Holland, it happened a couple of times.

TBH smartest thing I've seen (from Young) was Young in that contest trying to tap it back to Acres.... nice set play for that situation.... shame it didn't work.
Anyway, those are the ' icing on cake goals' ... We didn't get the basic ones (see quote above)

Interesting that Cripps has got into the Coaches votes the last 2 weeks. I thought he's been good up forward, but exposed in midfield.
