Good seeing Cerra get off

But Adelaide will be a bit unhinged about their result

Adelaide defender Mitch Hinge is set to miss Saturday's game against Carlton after the AFL tribunal upheld his one-game ban for striking.

Happy for you that you had that experience Syd but I’m glad he didn’t do it out on the ground or he definitely would have been suspended.

Like that one time last summer when he went for a pull behind square?

Worth a look.

Regards Cazzesman

Interesting analogies.
Also slightly concerning we are the only ones playing fast forward football.
If we continue to play FF football we need to get better at finishing off all the good work.
Personally, I'd like to see a little more play and tv guide added to the ball movement.
Because as we have seen in the past, our FF football has player durability and consistency issues written all over it.

Plus as Hoyne has stated, it's more about score board return, something we have been extremely wasteful at.

As I said earlier, this weeks game will be won and lost with our defence locking down a well structured forward line and our forwards and mids producing better F50 entries with more accurate shots on goal.

Makes total sense in what we have been doing the last 4 weeks. It's exactly what we needed to do. Execute faster.
We also have the team defending well. Most of all our structure behind the ball is well placed. Will be interesting to see how this works without JSoS though.
Now get the scoring opportunities maximised and we are away and will become the team we all wanted to be.

That's a big loss for them, especially coming up against a strong contested midfield.

I know it's only fantasy points, but we currently have 4 players in the top 30 - Hewett, Walsh, TDK, Cerra. Then you can throw in a certain P Cripps.

I'll back us to win the midfield battle. If we can run in waves and move the ball in handball chains like we did last week and avoid the long bomb, we're a big chance. $2.60 is pretty good value.

Watch this 20 minute video if you are keen to see what we been doing amongst the mids.

We are not predictable even when we are.

TDK is da man.

Thanks Bondi. Very informative.

$2.60 ain't bad at all. Probably inflated by us not beating them over there for years.

Did Crouch, Murray, Hinge all play for them against Freo? So that's 3 forced changes plus possibly Thilthorpe?

So we have two confirmed outs and one maybe, as you’d have to think Cerra will need to pass a fitness test.

Silvagni for Cowan seems the other obvious to me, I’d love to see Boyd in the back seven but we already have rebounding types in Saad, Ollie, Guv and Haynes so we need more of a tough lockdown defender type. I’m not convinced we need Young’s height in defence as I am counting on our midfield to stop easy entries, but interested in others opinions. Cowan is the one for me.

Williams for Docherty, with Lord coming into the 22 and Docherty being sub as he can play either forward, midfield, wing or back as required.

Cerra for B Camporeale (or Boyd) who takes over as sub and Docherty moves into starting 22.

I would play Young if Thilthorpe gets up.

Adelaide's form has slipped significantly since the start of the season. Their midfield can be pressured, which means that they dump kicks forward hoping that the talls can take marks and clean up their untidy entries. And whilst this works some of the time, their goal-kicking accuracy has also gone off the boil a bit, so they're not putting pressure of the scoreboard as they were.

Weitering will need to play on Thilthorp as he is the stay home forward.
Haynes on Walker (JSoS would have been perfect) as he is more mobile and gets up the ground.
Fogarty is the problem. Does Cowan come in, who is 4 cm shorter to go with him, or do we bring in Young to partner Haynes and mix between the 2 of Walker and Fogarty. Can Young go with Walker?
The coaches have some minor decisions to be made.

OUT: Silvagni, Williams, Lord
IN: Young, Cowan, Docherty

B: Saad Weitering Young
HB: McGovern Haynes Carroll
C: Acres Cripps Walsh
R: De Koning Hewett Cerra
HF: E.Hollands McKay Cottrell
F: Durdin Curnow Motlop

I: O.Hollands Cowan White Fogarty

McGovern to Fogarty, Young to Thilthorpe. Simplify the brief for both of them.

No knock on Lord. Just want to see him get a full game & as many kicks as possible. Get the eye in.
