I'll close off that page now, round the figure up to $300 and make the donation later today.

RIP .................... Mercurial Flamboyant A bit of a lare on his day . A showoff . Loved the limelight . A one-man floorshow . All those things . Peter was so typical Carlton of that era .

Condolences to his family . Hope you have a good one up there Champ . No one played to the crowd better .

Buzz, thanks so much for making every Carlton supporter proud of their club. When you were in full flight, your fans had the biggest grins imaginable. We watched in awe as you soared into space. :eek:

You and your teammates made my youth so much more fun. You made us invincible as Blue Baggers.

What a joy it was to watch you perform all your theatrics on the biggest of VFL stages. :clap:

Rest in Peace now, knowing you made the VFL World a better place to visit.

As a 12 year old I was sitting in the Robert Heatley Stand when he took THAT MARK against Geelong. I remember rushing home to see the replay - and actually being disappointed with as I was certain he had reached goalpost height!
