Do we though? We have, like, 7. It's just that if you mushed them all together we probably have one and a half good ones.

Carlton say Jacob Weitering is OK after that knee-on-knee clash with Nick Larkey that sidelined him late in the game. Despite PCL fears, the Blues state the defender will play Geelong next week. @1116sen

Why is it that every other club can get scans, results out quickly and carlton don't. We already know results of Darcy's scan but Weitering?

What more is there to know?

Ldts see when he's an out on Thursday or late withdrawal. That's the carlton way.

The boys had part of their training session on the #1 oval today where they got the heart rate going via some competative games (think Year 9 P.E class). Weiters knee was tightly strapped and the most he did was light kick to kick with Harry and a few leg swings. As someone who has injured their PCL before (albeit via skiing), I highly doubt he'd be out there if this was anything major. Not to sound all Jimmae on you all, but the toughest part is bearing any weight on the leg - hence my thinking that he'd be at home, with a brace on, and crutches to get around. That he can walk without limp or noticeable discomfort tells me that he'll either play or be out a week if he still can't run or kick. Either that or they've rolled him out there for a bit of cat and mouse with the Cats. The betting man in me says he plays. Blues by 61.

Cowan would be a big in. Will be interesting to see what the selection committee do as IMO he is definitely best 22.

Cowan to smash into Bailey Smith.

And I'd be very very surprised if Weiters plays.

Cowan was only so-so before getting injured IMHO. I wouldn't be surprised to see him come back through the VFL.
Carroll has his spot and is performing much better.
