If the team selection is correct , why are we going back to Lewis Young again.
Surely Harry Lemmey should at least be given 1 game coz we all know what to expect from Young.
It's madness to have a kid sit on our list for 4 years without even trying him just once

So after reading this forum for twenty minutes, I've learned that:
* half the seniors need to be dropped
* most of the reserves aren't worthy of promotion
* those in the reserves who might be worthy haven't had enough match fitness (thanks VFL for yet another bye)
* we'll never know if the kids are good enough if they don't get games
* we can't gift games

Who would be a selector, eh?

Nah. I think he’s in close proximity to calling time.

Ollie giving him a bake against the filth, then repeating the non-effort against the hapless WEagles… he’s too proud to delude himself. If Wilson was any good, he probably would’ve called it already.

I don’t think he’s squibbing it. I just think he’s picking it up late & body is reacting even later.

Classic one too many.

No issues with the selections and those omitted - which was only Doc - as the otther two were forced changes due to injury.

Re: Elijah, sure he has a limited scope of buildup and maybe he hasnt "earn" selection is some peoples view. BUT this kid is (hopefully) part of the team's future. There is no doubt he has talent and that dreaded word "potential". Let's allow him a block of games to show what he is made of.

Doc - beyond any doubt is and has been a iconic legend, super player for our club. BUT it's time to move on from him. I'm sure given the guy Doc is, he would also agree, and u can almost guarantee 100% he won't be playing on beyond this year.

Pitto - some crow about Elijahs selection and "not earning it". Well at least he has had some exposure at senior level and recently at that. Pitto, has had zero and is coming off zero match prep (VFL). Move on peeps, he aint match fit and we might actually need him for other games coming up., so why risk another injury, potentially LTI by playing him unfit???

The answer to that is both, and neither.

Two rucks are too many, one ruck isn't enough

Our forward line worries me. Our midfield will be the key. Cripps and team will need to run deep forward, like last week, and kick goals. Like last week, need to lower the eyes and look for the shorter option and have Elijah’s, Williams, Durds and Mots run into space. No bombing to Charlie. Fingers crossed as North / Clarko have been stung all week in the media. They will be fired up.

As much as we like these scoops, tell whoever's leaking the teams early (or tell your source to tell their source if there's separation) to stop undermining the club and being a selfish POS!

I'll be sure to pass this on but not until next week.

Wouldn't want to spoil his long weekend with the news that Traveller86 on TalkingCarlton is flat with him.
