So the answer is, he should take indefinite leave as if he takes the field he'll play like shit for the forseeable future?

Spoke about Harry.

Typically, I was facetious about the negative impact the psychs are having on him, telling Harry its OK to want to get away from, and not have to face, the criticism.

He said, if what we are going to get from him is what we got from him against the Tigers, do we really want him playing?

I responded

"That's not an answer !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets get back onto the Psych. Maybe its his/ her fault he's gone so soft"

I'm really worried what affect last year's end of season failure had on these guys.
It seems that they just don't believe they can achieve success. As a group, this has made them totally bereft of confidence, and mentally fragile.
This game might shed a more light, but I'm seriously concerned and won't accept that this might be true.
Hope they prove me wrong.

I think the Richmond loss contributed too. Zero confidence now.

Maybe Harry has bone bruising that makes him nowhere near his best and he doesn't want to get judged and ridiculed on sub par performances.

( just a wild guess )

If you are "worried" about something that probably is a long shot, then you have more problems than the MC team selections, and anything Carlton.

You are stating your assumption (Opening sentence) as fact. Then read your 3rd sentence...."As a group..."

Then read your first sentence followed by your 2nd last. Concerned with something untrue?

Get a grip Surrey. You're making up stories then believing them. Boo.

This is exactly how the hysteria starts. If you think your assumptions are real, then others who read your posts start to think the same...then we wonder why we don't have rational conversation and hears cries to burn doen the club down.... the memberships...time for another rebuild....sack the coach ... trade the players ....its just totally wild what is happening after one, then two, then three losses in a 23 game H&A season. The latter 2 against Flag contenders. Lets get some reality. Things are not as bad as made up stories on social media.

We are not that far off.

The players have gone over the tapes...seen the good, and seen the costly mistakes. Then its quickly onto the next opponent. For is outside those 4 walls the week drags on from one game to the next. Byes are a killer for some people.

Come on mate...get back on your horse. Giddiup

I was Thinking the Same. If you are suffering from Mental illness to the point you can't do your Job, then you need to take Leave and Get away from the Club and from Footy all together.

The Fact that he is still Training and still hanging around shows that Harry just can't Cope with Crititisim and Online Trolls about his Kicking, his Form and Everything else that comesd with it.

From all reports it’s actually boner bruising.

You mean bone vibrations BG?

Nice to see your name.

You remember back in the early 2000's and what a case Carlton was. Bottom fell out of the club and we were broke.

Compare that Carlton era to now, and we are a new club. Surely there's more hope for success these days Yeah?

Look at the spine

Weitering
Silvagni
DeKoning
Cripps
McKay
Curnow

Compare that to

Martyn
Beaumont
French
Wiggins
Whitnall...later became Gorringe
Fevola ... later became Casboult

From all reports it’s actually boner bruising.

Send him to Vegas for a week, ALL expenses paid.
He'll be over the bruising pretty quick or have more, I don't know, one of them.

I wonder whether Voss will get him to earn his spot back via the VFL so he can get some touch and feel like he belongs.
If he comes straight back into the senior team, he may well be unconfident and play that way.

For now, he is not in the team. Let’s focus on how to stretch the Pies defence with the players we have.

I’m not looking to wade into anything here, but if you’re still confused about the treatment for the myriad mental afflictions, it might be best to stay out of the conversation.

There’s no switch. No magic pill. The penny will forever teeter on the edge, never dropping.

He’ll get through it when he can.

Or, give up.

That's your opinion only. I would say not necessarily. Maybe the club provides the security that he needs at the moment, if things are difficult outside the club.

Moir super sub.
Lord supports mids on the inside

Got a good feel.

Who tags Daicos? Cincotta. Cottrell. Nope.
Let him worry about his opponent?
