What is happening to this club? 2 players on personal leave in the space of a month ?

And other players not themselves too.

What have they been doing all pre-season ?

I dont know with this club anymore. 1st time in over 40 years that i feel like actually giving up. Its too upsetting to my mental health.

I love the old days when all you had to do is take a Bex

Bex is better

What’s funnier is I seem to remember the club saying that he has had his best pre season ever!

Hands up everyone who believes that Carlton had two players start suffering debilitating mental illness within weeks of each other.

I seem to remember a conversation about a list of names with strikes that has been made available to a testing body. I wonder what impact this list has had within the industry?

Hands up

Mental illness can be caused by relentless supply of guilt to the brain

He was.

At the intra club praccy games he was killing it.

Even kicked 8 goals in ahalf against DGB and Philips. No wonder they didnt get picked up

He looked good in the first quarter of the Saints praccy game on a 35 degree day in shitty 30-40 knot winds, kicking 2 goals, then went off. Thought nothing of it.

Following week against GWS in shitty strong cross wind he kicked a goal or two (?) in the first and again, moved around well, then went oiff. Thought nothing of it.

He looked OK after the game. Then the rumours started on that day about a knee injury...I couldn't see it.

He didn't train much after that. Training indoors supposedly.

Fronted in Round 1, and anyone could see his head wasn't in the game. He didnt seem to have any physical injury.

Far out just send them all to hospital now
Use up their medibank extras for whatever surgeries they need
Play the kids the rest of the year

This season is cursed

Harry McKay yesterday completed a full Carlton VFL internal scratch match.
A positive step ahead of Thursday night v Collingwood. Whether he returns will be determined closer to selection on Tuesday.

Elijah Hollands also played. He’s a few weeks away from AFL consideration.

Just a thread?

Might need it’s own sub-forum.
