What did they do all summer?

They are kings of making the the simple look difficult - can't hit a 10m switch kick, handball at someone's feet, kick it on someone's head.

What does he actually do?
I literally just said this myself.

The guy is just another fraud, like a few on the list.

I had Nicks as the worst coach in the league up until tonight

Can't believe he played Cripps in the ruck in the 3rd qtr, anyone but Cripps. Pathetic.

And seriously, I cant understand the recruitment of Evans, it's obvious he is too small, slow and is not clean with the footy. Why can other clubs pick gems late in the draft or mid season draft whilst we have no idea.

Unless his tactics were for players to drop simple marks, handball to each others feet, fall over, try to take on the impossible instead of playing the team game and have your key forwards play impotent football, I don't think this was on the coach. You're all giving the players a leave pass they don't deserve. Tonight had little to do with tactics. Our players were challenged on field and their response was weak as piss.
Old habits came back. Players with a soft underbelly were exposed again and when all else fails, expect Cripps to do it all.
Voss has his flaws but don't let the players off the hook. This was all on them.

Yeah I kind of went each of them too (definitely constructive and not emotional). But it stops somewhere and he's the boss.

Fair call, but why play Cripps in the ruck whilst H sits forward and can't get into the game. Cripps was our only player dominating in the clearances, playing ruck took that advantage away from us. Plus do you really want to see Cripps in the ruck.

The long bomb ia all the coach. We were happy to mock Malthouse so let's not let Voss off the hook.

When the players don't trust the game plan, they make plenty of mistakes

His job is to prepare the team, he simply doesn’t or can’t. He’s got to go.

Agreed. He's either allowing it, or unable to stop it. Either way, he has to go.

A good coach would've started dropping players for doing it a long time ago.

It's embarrassing to see the ball continuously being kicked long to 1 v 2 and or Motlop.

Harry was lazy and stayed about 80m from the ball refused to be the target. Soft as butter.

The long bomb is players pooping their dacks and making it someone else's problem, whether it's out of defence or into the forward 50.
If Voss dropped players for it, we'd be fielding 3 blokes each week.

Don't be too hard on the long bomb, at least when you float it in slowly it tends to stay up the ground. I mean, when every one of our "drilled" kicks goes straight into the oppo chest and every switch through the corridor goes 5m over the target's head and comes back for an easy turnover goal, I'm thinking we should balloon it every goddamn time and hope to fluke a win by a scoreline that's more NFL than AFL.

Voss looks absolutely rattled in the presser.

It’s about context.

And it’s about round 1.

Yeah, rubbish presser. Shirked it pretty much. I think jack silvagni went ok but they seemed adamant to keep him back and out of the ruck until the death. I get he is coming back from injury but that's a match committee error in my opinion

I was very lucky tonight, my 9yo woke up crying because of stomach pain just as Richmond kicked their last minute goal, so I was spared the agony of watching Voss try to explain that shit.

Hey, at least we got rid of Andrew Russell though, right? That'll sort it.

Teams evolve year on year..no..within seasons.

This fraud is STILL persisting with his 2022 game plan which got found out after we beat Sydney that night and went 8-2.

He fooled me with our run in 2023 but now I’m convinced that was down to individual brilliance and nothing to do with this guy.

Contest and pressure? Pfttt..so @#$%&! outdated!

Sack him NOW. Be bold Carlton, whilst there is still time to save this season!
