That is not a silly thought Cru.

He was super busy, almost excitable at training on weekend. Had a spring in his step and stood out.

He's got speed the other fit smalls don't have. May be worth a look.

Who knows Surrey?

We all have our reasons for our selections.
We all agree on the squad including emergencies.

Can't see Young missing. Played an important role giving Weiters, TDK a chop out and playing KPF at times.
Thought Cottrell looked great vs GWS, whereas Motlop didn't seem to adjust to the pace of the game.
With Fantasia out, thought Motlop may be selected in 22. May end up being sub too.
Who knows?

Motlop is the one most likely to kick a bag. But, White has the attributes (albeit unproven) to move the opposition just enough to clean up our F50 entries - and that could mean bags for everybody.

Evans is a defensive forward & I think we’re in a good enough spot with Fogarty, Kemp & Williams to see him kept for another day.

My best side (this hour, at least) has got:

Curnow & McKay
Kemp & Williams
Fogarty & Fantasia
Cottrell & E.Hollands

After that, it’s mids getting squeezed out.

If Curnow & Fantasia are missing, I’m naturally drawn to Lemmey & a small. But, Kemp has shown he can play out of the square as the feature, so the smaller types are all in the mix.

Whichever way it goes, I think we win by 100+.

No Elijah for the foreseeable future unfortunately.

Wish him all the best and hopefully he can get on top of things.

With orazio and Hollands out I wouldn’t mind seeing Moir get a crack

Extremely disappointing for Elijah. I truly hope he fixes whatever ails him. I am confident the club will be there for him.

Here's my 2 cents team.

B: Haynes Silvagni Cowan
HB: Saad Weitering McGovern
C: Acres Cripps O.Hollands
HF:Fogarty McKay Cotters
F: Motlop Kemp Williams
R: TDK Hewett Cerra
I: Young Lord Walsh, Lucas Campo
S: Docherty

I still would like Young to pinch hit in the ruck.

Go Blues.

Regards Cazzesman

Ah, so we have the nervous wait to see the team, and then the nervous wait to see if there's any late changes.

So, business as usual then.

And then the nervous pre first bounce wait. The nervous quarter time break. Nervous half time break. And nervous three quarter time break.

Cooper Lord in and amongst the captains run at Carlton today. As are Lewis Young, Francis Evans, Will White and Matty Carroll among the 26.

Jack Silvagni confirmed to return. Harry McKay good to go. No Ashton Moir. @zerohanger

Carroll, if no McGovern
Lemmey, if no Curnow

Tough call, Lucas over Doc, but he was pretty ordinary for a jack-of-all-trades mid.

I’ve got Ollie on a wing, but I expect him to find his way to half back more often than not. We can put that fat-side wing to better use through the middle.

Taking into account the known injuries & absences…

OUT: E.Hollands, Curnow, Fantasia
IN: Docherty, Motlop, White

Probably go with White as the sub.

Where are the surprises? Evans makes sense with Orazio, Hollands, Durdin all out. Plenty of experience and ready to go. Although I suspect he’ll be the sub.

We already knew Haynes and Camporeale were playing. The rest pretty much pick themselves
