I would play Charlie even if a little underdone fitness-wise.
As long as he is structurally good to go, he will benefit more from some match fitness.
Esp w the Hawks in Round 2 after they’ve already had a couple of weeks to get into their groove.

The thing about Pittonet is he IS now our No 2 ruckman, and can't cut it as a Fwd, so its ruck or bench for him if selected.

For that I am grateful.

He's break glass option for now, but injured, and Young is the only other ruckman standing. When Charlie is back, and he may well be for round one Young will be probably out of the picture.

I think the Tigers game is a good game to give Lucas Campo a taste, but more importantly, to bring back Charlie who would benefit from a run before the Hawks game in round 2.

One hundred percent give Lucas Campo a go Bondi . Jeez he was good . Couldn't believe how calm and composed he was . And his balance was on another level . He kept his feet . He never got knocked off the ball . Very exciting player . I"m with you Bondi , chuck the kid in the deep end and give him a go .

Funny you mention Rye Bondi . That kid Doherty who I thought was from Rye is actually from Sorrento FC . He's lining up with Frahnganistan this year so I will see how he goes .

The right call. This is a glorified practice match. Tigs will be without Prestia and Balta on top of Bolton, Baker, Rioli, Graham, Martin, Grimes, Pickett all leaving. No need to rush him. And it will be great to see Kemp get a go at it.
