What are you expecting Heavs?

Same as always from him. Attempts to cork and take his opponent out of the game. Maybe someone should Sam Lalor him.

Young has all the attributes!

Pitto. Knock him out in the first 5 mins then sub him off. We’ll both be down a ruckman and Pitto can serve his suspension while he’s injured

That's what Pitto was there for. To play the Nakervis role.

Neanderkervis is there to brutalise, and for that same thing why Gawn hates playing against Pitto.

It's the TC equivalent of Bloody Mary except Bondi and Braithy appear

I think that is the best thing I have ever read on this site....

I would play Charlie even if a little underdone fitness-wise.
As long as he is structurally good to go, he will benefit more from some match fitness.
Esp w the Hawks in Round 2 after they’ve already had a couple of weeks to get into their groove.

The thing about Pittonet is he IS now our No 2 ruckman, and can't cut it as a Fwd, so its ruck or bench for him if selected.

For that I am grateful.

He's break glass option for now, but injured, and Young is the only other ruckman standing. When Charlie is back, and he may well be for round one Young will be probably out of the picture.

I think the Tigers game is a good game to give Lucas Campo a taste, but more importantly, to bring back Charlie who would benefit from a run before the Hawks game in round 2.

One hundred percent give Lucas Campo a go Bondi . Jeez he was good . Couldn't believe how calm and composed he was . And his balance was on another level . He kept his feet . He never got knocked off the ball . Very exciting player . I"m with you Bondi , chuck the kid in the deep end and give him a go .

I like the idea of staring new players in round 1.
Pressure on spots

Who misses will be bustin to get their chance to stake their claim

This year we can start with Haynes and Lucas C.
Motlop with a big preseason is supposedly a new player.

Doc is a new recruit in a way.

Saw nothing that says Lucas doesn’t belong at the highest level.
Strong body. Balance like you say Mick.

On another note, Rye boys have recruited big over the summer.
That’s a change from investing in the kids for 5 years

Funny you mention Rye Bondi . That kid Doherty who I thought was from Rye is actually from Sorrento FC . He's lining up with Frahnganistan this year so I will see how he goes .

The right call. This is a glorified practice match. Tigs will be without Prestia and Balta on top of Bolton, Baker, Rioli, Graham, Martin, Grimes, Pickett all leaving. No need to rush him. And it will be great to see Kemp get a go at it.

The first Round 1 in about ten years where we don't have to worry about Dusty tearing us a new one.
