On the sen app.
They have a sinc feature where you can fast forward a few seconds or back a few seconds and match up the commentary with the coverage. It works really well.

Where is the Sync function on the SEN app. I installed it (Android version) but could not find the Sync function.... thanks

To be fair that happens no matter who we pick...

Also... No one expects us to win. I don't expect us to win.

I think what we're doing is bold and messes with some of Brisbane's planning. Going in with uncertainty over how they plan for Charlie and Harry, or Charlie and Harry and Kemp, or Harry and Kemp, or Williams at the feet, there's an unpredictability to us which I think at the very least will be causing some discussion.

Someone to occupy Harris Andrews is important, and we need their big talls to kick like they have been recently.

I'm looking forward to it. Can't see us winning it, but we'll ask some questions so who knows...

Doc is the man of steel - he's the last person I'm worried about on the field come Saturday night.

Yes , and he has got a great footy brain . Hope he has a few stints on the wing . He has the happy knack of knowing where to be between the arcs .

You will need to find the blues radio feed under "listen live" on the day of the match. Click on the link to open the stream. Once you get into the live stream there will be a sync feature.
Practice it on Thursday nighs match with any one of the live streams they will have.

We bring them all in at once we lose. Being half fit, out of form started our slump.

Yeah I know where you are coming from jim, but there's a lot of buts on both sides of the argument.

As mentioned previously, I expect anyone who is named to be fit for purpose. Form is separate from that. I don't blame the selection of Cottrell and Cerra for our form slump. That's just an excuse. Momentum swings have happened to all teams throughout season 2024 and that was part of that. Personally, I feel we were selecting players who were not fit to play let alone fit to play for 4 quarters. Eg Charlie standing in the goal square waiting for the high bomb since the GWS game. So much hard work further up the field only to be wasted by a long bomb to a player with ankle issue.

The way I would like to look at it is if we leave all our kids to play and give their all, performing a team role as best as they can, to give us another honourable loss (like we did vs 14th placed Saints), we will lose against the higher ranked> Hence I am going with hardened bodies and experience and I'm assuming players are over their injury and have been conditioned to play footy.

Doc is the one example. He's been training for 6 weeks and the last 3 weeks full on and standing out. Do we play Lord, Binn s or Carroll before Doc? I wouldn't. As its turned out, he's come through.

Cerra hasnt been sitting idle, nor has Martin, nor has Williams (who only felt hammy tightness)

I'm going with fit experienced players vs fit novices learning their roles whilst their bodies are being developed for the rigours of AFL footy. It goes up a level in Finals.

Let the men play.

I thought Cerra was fantastic playing HB. 5-6 weeks ago. Class player.

Play him back there releases Doc or Cincotta from the backline.

One game that haunts me is the Swans GF loss vs Hawks in 2014.

Swans decided to play Read at CHF. He was a huge risk, having not played for months and was still carrying an ankle injury.
He didn't last a quarter and down the drain went Swans hopes when he went down.

Read was not fit for purpose.
Swans selected him because they had no other forward tall target than Franklin.

That is not the sort of risk I want the selectors to make.

If they are selected fit, they must have been tested and passed their fitness tests.

Charlie is the only one I see to be in a similar position to Read imo.

Group 1 haven't played much footy

Doc 26 week off Will play

TDK 7 weeks off ??
Cerra 5 weeks off Should be right to play
Martin 4 weeks off Should be right to play

Group 2 needing to recover from niggles

Harry 4 weeks off Should play
Charlie 4 weeks off Should be right to play injured vs GWS 10 weeks
Boyd 4 weeks off ??
Williams 3 weeks off Should play
Gov 3 weeks off Should play

I wish TDK was ready to play.

If Charlie plays then play him deep and let him wrestle….but only use him for that once or twice a quarter. Other times lower the eyes and hit up the targets 40m out, this’ll draw the defenders up the ground, then when you go long to Charlie you’re backing him to win 1/1.

Smart decision by the club to release the Docherty news today. Get the hype out of the way and then let the players focus on the game.
I wouldn't be surprised to see Charlie named but I would be surprised to see him line up.

I actually think the MC are foxing with Charlie and TDK

If TDK is named, I'm absolutely convinced it will mean Curnow is a late out

TDK will support Pitto with ruck duties against OMc but also rest up fwd to help out Harry and Kemp

Again, IF TDK is named, that's what I'm preparing for

Doc: "That's a nice brick wall you have there...

be a shame if someone...

ran through it".

*puts on sunglasses*

I'm pumped to have him back in the team!

But I hope we play fit players. Doc has to be the only question mark. If we have an empty bench at half time in a final, heads have to roll.
