The Dale match up was frustrating but I believe our coaches have implemented strategies that have won/saved us games. Charlie going behind the ball has won us a couple of games. Cincotta tagging has gone a way toward wins. Defensive role on Jeremy McGovern last week was effective. Fogarty as a defensive forward worked beautifully for us.

The Geelong game you mention wasn't won by them having an extra at the stoppage. We had 21 more inside 50's so we had more than enough ball coming from stoppages. We won centre clearances and stoppage clearances. Our issue was converting when we had momentum. 2.8 in the first quarter when we dominated was the problem which has cost us numerous games.

I just believe moves occur during games that we perhaps take for granted or don't appreciate.
Yesterday St Kilda had Mason Wood at half forward and moved him onto Binns on the wing. Carlton countered by moving Acres to him to match him for size. Later in the game Acres came from the bench and instead of going to the wing took a match up at half forward where he had a height advantage and immediately kicked a goal. They're the moves that we would highlight if it was the opposition but we don't analyse because it's Carlton.

As I said in my post, our issue is set plays. Defensive stoppages have cost us at least 3 games. They're the killer. Even with a horrific injury list, had we not given away those games, we'd be easy top 4. So I don't believe it is in game strategy that is the major problem but more defensive stoppage craft.

 Spot on.

Lucky we aren’t on a forced search for a new coach this week.

Could've turned ugly.

Those kids were drug affected and carrying knives.

Its an omen. Blues live through another Final encounter.

Imagine stealing a car, crashing it and then being apprehended by Voss while the police arrive.
Imagine now being a Coll8ngwood supporter - Now you know you’re having a bad day……

Rumour from a good source, suggests the 16 yr old Vossy tackled got bail. 48 hours later he has been apprehended in another stolen car.

It's going well

What's wrong with this country?

I remember when I was a kid there was a place called Turana where bad kids were held.
I was shit scarred of any thought of the place. I saw the types of kids who rightly so ended up in there.

Now kids are trying to get in there but the magistrates wont allow them. Strange.

i used to work at what turana turned into, finishing in 2012, not enough bed spaces then for the little turds, and its all about second chances, the justice system was stuffed then, only seems to be getting worse

we workers had very little power over the kids, basically if they didnt like you and complained, you were off the units, and investigated - one of our unit supervisors had that done to him because he had the cheek to try and discipline a kid....

Went to school with a crazy kid who spent time in Turana. He told stories about getting beaten with phone books by staff. He was the only kid in year 10 with a back piece.

Haven't thought about him for 30 odd years. It wouldn't surprise me if he's either in jail or dead.

Major changes needed....can't go into next year with the same coaching group.

Maybe bring Simmo back.....although why would he leave the Hawks when he's getting a terrific education under Mitchell.

It's the list. No coach in the world is going to change things. Fix the list. 10-15th next year.
