Finals

Rest Recouperate Reflect and Plan to win in mint condition.

The magnificent 7 will start to get back.

McKay
Curnow
Williams
McGovern
Cerra
TDK
Martin

Doc

We will be bigger and better by the week.

I loved the last 2 trips to the Gabba. Great ground. Ground is like Princes Park. With good support it’s virtually a home game.

Binns, Lord, and Moir all deserve to stay in the team.
Motlop, Durdin Fantasia, and Carroll looking shaky and would be first out for me.
Harry, Charlie, Williams, Martin and McGovern into the squad. It sure who else might come up.

Some of the kids have earned their spots and some 'stars' should be fit again.

Need to find the right balance somehow.

Start with the outs.....
Young
Durdin
Motlop
Carrol
Binns

This will suit me as I’m flying over to Melbourne on Friday night for Iron Maiden!

I've got Maiden on the Friday too

I'm hoping our game & also Dog/Hawks aren't on then, don't want to miss either of them

I think Young and Binns could stay

My outs at this stage would be

Pitto - TDK
Durdin - Williams
Motlop - Curnow
Carroll - Mcgovern
Fantasia - McKay

Completely different balance

Doc if ready is the only one worth risking from the long term injured.

He’s built different. He started running weeks before JSOS despite getting injured months after.

Cerra hasn't been flash this year, happy to stick with Lord

Martin, meh - Could easily get injured in the first quarter, happy to go with others, even Moir

Doc - I can't see it happening, but Binns out if it's possible

IN: McKay, Curnow, McGovern
OUT: Durdin, Motlop, Carroll

Williams would be nice, but this hobbled version is shit in defence & the goals have dried up.
A fit Martin would be nice, but Moir has got something about him… both could work, I suppose.

Moir is the perfect sub at this point. He's made an impact both games he's played. I'd be keeping him as the sub for whatever games we have left this year

Part of me wishes that We didn't make the Finals this year. It has been a total waste of a year compared to where we finished last Year!

Brisbane & Carlton both met at Prelim final last year, so logic says that Both should have met again at the Grand final, not an Elimination Final. This shows that both Clubs have miserably failed to go Forward.

With Carlton, you can't just ignore the injuries as they played a big part, however for Brisbane, they are at a Worse position than us.

For the first time in almost 20 years, Brisbane were beatable at the Gabba and no longer feared by the opposition.

Although I still think beating them over there is a near impossible task, its not beyond us if We get back all the injured players. The Question remains though, can all the injured players fire up? They will be rusty and lack match fitness. Can they overcome that?
