I still think there's a big question mark over whether he can get back to his best.

nah. he'll be fine. physically all his symptoms are 100% recoverable from.

... he won't get back to his best at dees. trust has gone, he's checked out. the culture there has killed his spirits.

holy shit. this is big news.

if we don't qualify for finals, or go 1-and-done, i could see us trading H for trac.
Yep. I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Mentally though...and we're probably not the best place for him in that respect.

i think he'd fit like a glove. great work ethic and a perfectionist. him cripps and sammy would get along like a house on fire.

and, no sleeve tatts, beard or moustache so he passes the eye test for our miserable board.

First player I would trade is Williams just another injury prone player take what ever we can get for him would probably get a second round pick and free up some salary cap

Owies didn’t do himself any favours today. I know he’s kicked goals but he lets himself down with his field kicking.

yeah, it's true. so many guys on this list when we need them, they're missing with soft tissue bullshit.

i can't handle mcgovern either ... but weiters looks lost without him in the side - which leads me to believe mcgovern is the leader and organiser back there.

In a way I think we are quite similar to Melbourne with our clunky ball movement, poor connection with our forwards and reliance on a handful of stars to win us matches.
Hopefully the likes of Moir, Binns and Wilson can step up next year. Also a 2nd key defender would be handy as well. Tick these boxes and hopefully with a better run with injuries we can contend next year.

Been a while since I’ve spoken to Austin, but if we trade out the best forward in the game to the flower Dees… he’ll be hearing from me.

Anyone worried about this Pettraca for McKay talk? We wouldnt would we ? I dont trust us. Petracca is what we need but not at 29 years of age with a long and expensive contract. And we need KPP not to lose them.

Someone please say we wouldnt.

Under no circumstances should we include a player for Petracca.

Jeremy Cameron the last mega player trade was picks only.

The talk of us giving up McKay is purely Carlton hating media driven - you don’t hear them saying that Collingwood have to give up DeGoey or Darcy Moore.

**** em!!!

Picks only.

I’d give up our first rounders this year and next and back our draft team to find some gems and I’m backing that the Camporeale twins and Cody Walker will provide us “walk

I am wondering where this has come from.
Is it just something that a journo thought would be a good idea and everyone have just run with it?
Pettraca may never be the same player again after what he has gone through.
Key forwards do not grow on trees so why would even consider it?

We shouldn't consider it . As you say , the big kahuna's don't grow on trees . Good ones are as rare as rocking horse shit . Yeah , a player like Petracca would be out of this world but as Ol " mate Aggs reminded us , picks or nothin ".

i've got nothing against H either ... i'm not sold on list management where we have two generational FF's taking up nearly 2mil of salary each season. imo we need a greater spread of the salary cap over more positions.

trac and H would be on similar money. him and cripps and walsh/ cerra with TDK would a generational midfield, imo.

Huge contract and long term, H is more important. Great player and I love to have him but I feel we are robbing Peter to pay Paul..
