We concede too many scores, our defensive 50 stoppage craft is abysmal and our transition/ball movement from D50 is atrocious as well. Our offensive/defensive system from our back 7 is amateur.

what they guy coaching the most scored against team AFL for the last few year? ok. Hamil was great when we had Jones partnering with Weiters and we were top 2 defending team in the league.

remember when people on here used to bag Liam Jones week in week out? bet they’d take him for Kemp + Young + S durdin + Marchbank now! we seem to lack for a few tier 2 and tier 3 players who can come into the team and get a job done without having the “chemistry” of being a regular. too many passengers, not for want of effort i expect, just lack of ALF talent across every line.

Melmac’s best 23 was a sight to behold back in the day.

Pity it all went to shit.

Maybe his coaching philosophy is ‘if you can’t be the best be the worst’?

There’s a reason he went 10 years as an assistant.

This goes way beyond Voss

Our list is ordinary. Could not believe Austin thought we could grow from within and contend for a premiership.

Have had ample time to build around our great spine and yet still rely on injury prone and average rookies to get the job done

I said this a few years ago but we should have through a mini rebuild. But no, the club continues to over rate its position.

And yes, I don’t rate Voss

He's out of contract end of the year isn't he?

This would create stability, avoid a media circus if we have another average start and at 2 years I think it strikes a healthy balance for each party.

55% win rate for Voss - best since Parkin. He's shown he can coach enough to warrant an extension.

This aged really badly, just like the extension

Hopefully Hansen gets WC job and Hamill moves on.
That along with Russell and maybe Austin might fluke one but I doubt it.

Total refresh

They didn't go to Ireland for nothing except 3 or 4 on the list next year

From Rd 16 2023 to Rd 17 2024 we won 22 and lost 6.

Yes the wheels have fallen off, but I think those figures show he can Coach. Every Coach from 1 -8 on the current ladder has hit the wall at sometime in 2024.

If Collingwood got that 50 metre penalty, the Swans would be losers again and one of the worst performed in the 2nd half of the season.

As soon as we beat Geelong the Carlton FC across the board exploded. All the talk was #17. And most of that talk was on TC.

Plenty here got ahead of themselves. It sucks but AFL is one tough MoFo.

Regards Cazzesman

Fair enough, my issue is I think we do have the cattle, Cazs stat above backs that up.
So it falls back on coaches and the S & C.
I'm worried we'll lose good players due to the environment

I don't think we have the midfield. Not even close.

That's because we always have injuries
