Honestly I felt Rory Lobb was the biggest "flatters to deceive" player in recent memory, and one I wouldn't want anywhere near our club... until he switched to defence. It's remarkable that it took so long for anyone to see where his true value lay. Hats off to Beveridge on that one.

he's got a bit going on. he reads the play and intercepts like he's done it his whole life, but he can play shut down too. first time i've ever seen jeremy cameron locked up. and, then how mobile and quick on his feet he is too.

... meanwhile marchbank and young have the turning circles of an ocean liner and as soon as it gets hot, they go to ground.

It's now become abundantly clear that TDK was the paper over our midfield cracks...

Honestly he may be the only player with any hope of being in the next great Carlton team (assuming there is one). I'd be open to trading everyone else.

Can we just have Lewis Young push TDK around in a wheelchair next week instead of Pitto being ruck?

Even better, give the young bloke a crack. Either Mirkov or HOK. What's the worst that will happen?

agree.

surely pittonet's goose is cooked. watching him for the 4th game in a row jog around to the ball drop and not get there by 20+ metres is really getting old. he's barely influencing the rucks he does make it there for too.

No, we lost last week because of Pitto.
Regardless of result though, he is just too slow and not up to it.

Nah . Lack of run between the arcs cost us today just like last week . Been costing us for years .

Yep, we just can't cover Pitto not being able to run ...... or mark, or jump that much.

Brisbane just won a premiership with one very average ruckman and a pinch hitting Daniher...

Haven't seen any of the game, but on the radio they reckoned that Brisbane were treating the ruck like a marking contest.
Average ruckman with a good plan?
