There is no doubt that Clarkson made a couple of our players a focus for some illegal activity. No doubt. He is the biggest flower of a bloke and we should have or even return the favour. Remember they a young group with young bodies but we aren’t that type of team.

I have absolutely no respect for that turd Clarkson. Still remember the king hit on Aitken in '87. He destroyed the guy's career.

i think a few is a really good outcome for him. maybe best case scenario. foot scans are hardly ever good news, and at this point of the season, can be curtains.

bloody hell, carlton have released the injury report....

sam durdin, 4-6 weeks with a calf strain.... well done to him for playing out the game, but its surely gotta be his last now. we must have the most brittle backline in the league

Great news about Acres. If he's a Test, and therefore doesn't have a broken foot, I'm confident he'll suit up. Kid is as tough as old boots.

Hard luck for Durdin but not surprising. Thank you for your service.

It’s a relief that Acres has avoided serious injury. He’s a player we really need up & about as the pointy end approaches.

The Williams timeframe is about what I expected.

Did we pull the trigger too early on C.Durdin’s contract extension?

It’s a shame HOK is injured again. I had him next in line if anything happens to Pitto while TDK is out.

how good! that's a pretty good outcome.

not exactly sure what we're testing marchbank for. maybe a pulse at this stage.

And he can take a few others on the way out.
If Austin is worth anything he will forgo drafting 4 kids and only draft Campo's and trade in some more mature durable talent.
We can't keep this amount of injured players, it's stoping the teams continuity.

he needs to draft a young kpd, then trade for a mature one. we cant rely on turning a forward into a defender

No mention of Walsh in the injury update.

But no news isn’t always good news…

Fev says hi. Any respect I had for Clarkson (very little) disappeared the day he stacked the backline to prevent Fev getting his century. I'll never forget the shit eating grin on him when he was asked about his tactic. He thought he was so, so smart.

Tom Hawkins is aiming to return Rd 22 from his foot injury

If TDK has the same timeline he's back for the finals

Sad to see Cunners injured.

Could be curtains for his time at Carlton?

It has to be. He lasted five minutes.

Giving him another year was stupid.

I disagree. After every loss we bemoan our lack of players with speed and polish, Cunners is exactly the sort of player we're crying out for. Last year he played every game from r14 to the semi inclusive, so it wasn't unreasonable to go another year in the hope he'd cleared the hump. He'd be on low coin, too. It was worth a punt. Who would have taken his place?

Feel sorry for Cunners, finally gets in the starting line up, doesn't last a quarter. If you didn't laugh you would cry. Same with Durds, at least he saw out the game, albeit under duress.

Too injury prone. There comes a time when you can no longer persist with players like them. You could argue they've been on the list too long now.
