On the train, very quiet carriage.
What a shocking half of footy.

Thought we'd put the days of being the league laughing stock behind us.....

Geez , this is gonna stoke up the one ruck only brawl .

Not at all. The one ruck argument revolves around having two key forwards which we usually do. Then there isn’t room for a resting ruck for those of us who prefer mobile hard running forwards who can apply pressure.

With Harry out I would love to have TDK available to play forward/ruck with Pitto playing first ruck. When Harry and Charlie are playing that’s not the case

We dropped so many marks in defence.
Harry averages 7 marks a game.
Young took 3. If he was going to play he should have been in back half and Kemp forward.
Carroll Holland x2 and Young avoid contact and contest

We do have an easy run home BUT Geez it does look hard now to keep 2nd Spot. We might not even finish top 4. :(

I give us little chance of finishing top four. Playing like a bottom 6 team at the moment.
That can change quick. Pies, lost R20, 21 and 23 last year before winning the flag. It'd want to change pretty damn quickly though.

Up until 4 weeks ago getting run over by sides just never happened. If we were a few goals up, then the other side kicked a few, we'd lift and burying them unmercifully. Now we just get run over and crash after that one random qtr of brilliance and loo stuffed. Must be a big training block. Hopefully Vossy hasn't stuffed that part up.

They looked pretty tired after half time. Probably as we all expected. Time to get a good rest. Taper off and hit the run home hard. I expect us to finish on 15 wins and be flying for the finals.

I'm not feeling as pessimistic as many on here.
No McKay, DeKoning, Williams, Acres and Martin plus a 5 day break meant it was always going to be tough against a near full strength Port Adelaide.
Young, Carroll, Kemp and O Hollands stick out like dogs balls whilst we need a lot more from Cerra to take the pressure off Cripps and Walsh.
Anyway I think we'll beat the Pies next week and are still a decent chance of winning our remaining 4 matches and coming 2nd on the ladder.

Got on port at $3.70 straight after the north game.

That's all I've got.

We were never playing well enough to be 5 goals up and got smashed everywhere.

JhF was incredible in 2nd half.

Well played Elijah Holland and Weitering. Cotters and Kennedy fought on. Everyone else pretty well lowered colours.

True. Worked really hard and didn't get caught wrestling. Good point.

Cowan did some very nice things too. Belongs

When I got home from the North game I said to my wife. "We'll be lucky to make finals. Too many out injured, too many playing sore, without TDK we would have lost". Tonight did nothing to change my mind about us possibly missing finals.

Next game I'm going to is against the Hawks, could be interesting.

- 8 day break vs Pies with Harry and Acres returning. Win.
- 7 day break vs Hawks with their finals aspirations possibly over after losing to GWS the previous week. Win
- 7 day break against Eagles who will have nothing to play for. Win
- Last round against St Kilda who will have nothing to play for. Win.
We were seriously up against it tonight against a full strength Port and I think some on here are overreacting.

Weitering looked lame towards end of game. Just me, but saad has been generally shit with his run this year. Whether that's injury or opposition tactics.

I like lewis young but he was awaY to the races early in the third, fumbled and opportunity lost. That's almost the game in my opinion
