Poor bottom 6 players

I think this is our biggest problem.
Add McKay, DeKoning, Williams, Acres and Martin and we can beat anyone.
A 2nd defender to help Weiters and another quality mid would make a world of difference.

Were our fans booing the players or just the umps? Certainly didn't sound supportive on TV.

Booing the umps.

Nothing at all for us. We may as well just sell a few games and get a few hundred gorilla in the bank if Melbourne fans are just going to sit there like it's a library

How can we be so brilliant in one qtr and so putrid for the rest. Typical of Carlton, they kicked 3 pts in 5 min that could have put us in front then allow a goal to them straight after. So Carlton.

1.5 for half!!!!!

I said in the match thread it feels like something has changed at the club, and the lack of drive certainly hammers that home. Are we tired? Have we changed our game plan? Have the entire team lost form or belief? As soon as port started to come back I knew we would get done, perhaps the players feel the same

We were never winning that game.

I was looking for the worry room before it started.

As much as we talk about selections and structures and injuries we have a serious problem when it comes to taking opportunities.

Tonight was an opportunity and we completely [REDACTED] it.

We’re mentally weak.

Have been for a long time.

I’m going to hope we decided to rest some this week given 5 day break to make sure we are fully ready for next week. Power had a lot to play for. Don’t give up, it’s embarrassing

Only we could make Ratagalea and Alliir look like superstars

We’ve waited how long for a legitimate chance at #17? Pissing the opportunity away. It’s gone.

Who will we beat playing like this? No one.

@#$%&! ropeable. Absolutely livid.

@#$%&! hurts when you have to face the sad reality.

We don’t have right balance in the midfield. Too one paced and doesn’t bat deep enough.

Until this changes, we have to rely too heavily on our superstars

My biggest concern is there is not much coming through in the seconds

Got ahead ourselves thinking this list will naturally mature into a premiership team

I don’t think so

Boyd should have played.
Couldn't get out of back half.
Young should never play again
Ollie Holland worst decision maker in AFL closely followed by Carroll
Kemp drops to many marks and makes dumb decisions.
Martin needs to play
Missed Harry Acres and TDK

Many people are saying we lost the Game before the bounce when Mckay pulled out. I disagree, We lost the Game before the bounce when we found out his replacement- Superstar Young

The Worst player to pull a Carlton's jumper continues to get Games on and put on a Show. That goal he kicked tonight reminded me of a School kid kicking for Goal. Total Embarrassment lol

Dump Coaching yet Again. Started at the Selection Table and then leaving McGovern in Defense when he should have been the 2nd Tall tonight! He must have Zero confidence in Young to be playing back!

I wouldn’t say they gave up.

Looked tired, made skill errors, some poor decisions, but didn’t give up.
