I have asked this Question in Rd 1, then again in Rd 10 and I ask it again to see if anyone has any reasonable answer or knows something from the club that we dont. The Question is this:

" What is it that makes the Team Selection committee & Voss placing Caroll well ahead of Binns in terms of playing Senior Footy? "

Is Caroll really well ahead of Binns? is he better? is his selection warranted?

Why are we keeping Binns rot in the 2's despite dominating week in, week out? How about a 47 Disposal Game with 3 goals this week?

This Kid needs to come in straight away and stay in the Team..... Unless I am missing something!!

Carroll an inside/outside mid with a left foot. and binns is a winger and behind Ollie in the depth chart, and the perception is he's not up to the physicality of afl. he needs to add weight and endurance (he can't run like ollie can all game).

hmmm... just heard with walsh, he's hurt his back. no idea how bad. but when you hear those words, our season flashes before our eyes.

maybe his downturn in form the last 3-4 weeks is back related?

He got what I assume was a huge knock, came off for a little while the last in a lot of pain initially.

They were continually jumping into his back at stoppages.

I actually thought it coincided with the "change of rule" in the holding the ball. He always wants to take on the tackle and is getting pinged often in games.

If fact the whole team downturn was when this happened, we play a tough contested game, and its been hard to change with the rule interpretation, making us very messy at stoppages all of a sudden.

what's wrong with acres? which part of his body?

good news about walsh ... even if he hasn't looked the same for a few weeks, but as chris said, maybe it's the rule change

All the very best to TDK for a speedy recovery. I guess that well-deserved rest is mandatory now and out of the Vossy's hands.

If this is from the incident where Xerri hit him and he doubled over I'd love to see it from a different angle. Looked innocuous.

That settles the ruck debate for a few weeks at least.

The broken foot is a bigger concern than the collapsed lung.

May be back for finals

I don't think it is doom and gloom.

Out TDK in Pitto. Pitto is no Hack, TDK just gave more versatility.

Those who can come in from Sunday are

McGovern
Boyd
Marchbank
Martin
Binns

I think we have 30 able-bodied folks available. I suspect Marchbank will come in for Durdin. Port don't go overly tall up forward. Dixon and Georgiades (192cm).

"Next Man In."

3-4 weeks is the average. which tdk will get plenty of thanks to his foot.

depending which bone is fractured, if it's one of the main load bearing ones, i can't see how he's back this year, but if they're saying maybe for september, it must be a little bone back towards the ankle?

tbh, their prognosis is more in line with a broken toe, not a broken foot. but that's so unlike carlton to play smoke and mirrors with injuries
