Swans at the SCG are a different proposition than Carlton at Marvel. If Weitering is a late out, I think North are a strong chance to cause an upset.

If North are a chance to cause an upset then we are making up the numbers this year. Let’s not forget north are still second bottom with 2 wins and a percentage of 64. I’ll take any win but after the past 2 weeks, anything less than a 6 goal margin will fail to remedy my confidence in us being genuine contender in 2024

I hope we belt these flogs, the negativity on here when we lose is unbearable.
It's a long season and we are still learning about our team.
The last 2 weeks have been frustrating and we'll need to get our $%!t out!

Carlton have been struggling for the last couple of weeks, but North are genuine poo.

They have some good young talent coming through, but they're mostly kids. They're where we were 5 years ago. With the amount of quality senior players we have this shouldn't be a contest.

We really need to start making the most of this list because it will pass us by pretty quickly

urgh i hope not. even if we lose weiters, i'd like to think we're still a 5-6 goal better team. their mids will work hard both ways, it' the clarkson way. if we match that, i'm hoping we'll be right and this will be over by 3qtr time.

but it's hard to trust us. anything is possible

Like a few others I am a bit worried about this game.
Just a heads up for those planning to take public transport.
There are bus replacements of a few lines, including the Hurstbridge and Mernda lines.
I think there are also disruptions with trams around the Southern Cross end.
Might be a good idea to check first.

Interesting. Does that mean we roll with Weiters and Marchbank as the only tall defenders?

Do they really think it makes any difference hiding the obligatory injury every week? Doubt the opposition gives a fk

wild that in the team lineup sheet, carroll is starting mid with walsh and cripps. cerra to a forward flank, kennedy back flank (in boyd's position) and hewett possibly our sub.

that all looks really slow?

Complete about face from last week when we picked 3 pure midfielders plus Kennedy sub. I like this better.

Named positions mean 2 fifths of FA. I'd say it looks quicker this week than last week with Cunners in and no Pitto, but we don't exactly have a heap of pace in the 2s to pick from. Don't think this looks slower than any other week.

Big change to last week, effectively dropping two talls with no replacement. I like it. We get run off our feet when go too tall. Pitto only makes our already slow midfield slower

Looks like Kennedy might be taking Kemps role down back. I'd make Cottrell sub with Cerra and Cunners to alternate playing his high half forward role and pushing into midfield. If Hewett is sub I'll scream
