Cerra & Cottrell straight in, if available. Motlop just needs to get some miles in his legs.

Williams setting up shop in the forward line is like Coles or Woolies opening next to a milk bar. The smalls go out of business. There’s no shortage of possibilities to fill out the forwards, but when the rubber hits the road, we need our better footballers on the field. Williams, Cottrell, E.Hollands & Fogarty are our better footballers.

Motlop is a scorer & Durdin’s energy & clean hands goes well as the sub, but the other blokes are better footballers. There’s room for only one of them - maybe only a sub role at that. Unfortunately, Martin & Cuningham can’t be considered.

If Cerra Martin & Cottrell were ready I'd bring them in for Carroll Durdin & Ollie.

But I suspect it'll just be Cerra for now

Martin, Motlop and Cerra are next in. Others can wait for injury. Simple.

It'll be a great victory! Perhaps the greatest victory. No other victory will even come close. Those previous victories were awful victories.

If Pitto Cerra Cotrell and Martin are fit.
Bring them in
Carroll Durdin Ollie and Cowan miss out.
Pitto starts ruck and rucks first half when contested football is hottest. He is the best 1st quarter player in the comp
Martin is the sub doesn't have the body to play 4 quarters
Sub Pitto out at half time and switch TDK into ruck for the rest of the game where he can use his athletic ability
Bring Martin on in 2nd half.
Kennedy plays back
Cotrell does Ollie role

If you are going to use tactical sub then make it a tactical move not Bring on a forward pocket and expect him to make a difference.

Don't think this is the week for 2 rucks and I don't like the idea of going in with the intention to sub Pitto (or anyone for that matter) at half time. An injury before hakf time and we have Pitto for the duration. An injury shortly after half time and we are down a rotation. Too much of a risk IMO.

Cincotta on Danger?

Good question. Holmes seems to be their star mid right now. Maybe we'll have to see how match fit Dangerfield is, and switch if needed.

Cincotta is Mr Fixit

Can lock down on a pure mid, can lock down as a HF on a dangerous running/intercepting HB and can (has) lock(ed) down as a HB on a dangerous small fwd

Take yer pick...Dangerfield, Holmes, Miers or even Stewart

Just handball it to Dangerfield's feet and watch him ping his hammy.

Cerra straight in when ready.

Cotters is a lock. Nobody runs harder. Straight in when ready.

Mots needs form.

Martin needs to build trust in his body.

With Williams doing b grade Dusty impersonations I dont see any reason to rush in Jack Martin. Let him have a few games in the reserves to make sure he gets through and has confidence.

In - Cerra, Cottrell
Out - Carroll, C.Durdin

For the first time this year, we might be able to field a strong VFL side. With a bit of luck, we could have Carroll, Cunningham, C.Durdin, S.Durdin, Fantasia, Marchbank, Martin, Motlop, Pittonet & Young all playing VFL after the bye. Our injury list has resulted in us fielding some very inexperienced VFL sides this year and I don’t think it’s been good for our development players (Binns, Lemmey, Moir, Wilson, Monahan, Mirkov & Akuei). Hopefully we get a look at M.Carroll and Lord in the VFL soon too.

I must admit it is getting quite confusing all these double names we have.
2 x Durdin
2 x Carroll
2 x Hollands
And soon 2 x Camporeale.

The problem is we’ve only got 4 or 5 games in a row for Jack Martin - recommend we keep him on ice till round 22.

I wouldn’t mind it if we had
2 x De Koning
2 x McKay

Harry cleared of shoulder damage according to channel 7. Great news.

No reports on Gov yet.
