Nothing will happen......we are not the AFLs lovechild St Kilda.

Besides for Teague that sort of treatment is par for course.

one of the main reasons you have to love teague, Soloman was delivering head shots all game and it just doesn't faze the man

Not to mention the kick in the head he delivered at one point.

Teaguey is a fantastic, brave ball player...it's a pity there's a few players around like Solomon ( Hamill is another ) who take advantage of this bravery by setting them up with premeditated cowardly hits...always coming from behind or from the side....I love it rough and tough but the man with eyes for the ball should be protected...attacking the body is ok ( in my book ) but some players go in with knees and elbows...

To all those crying about the Lions attacking ReVOLT, have a look at the tape. Last night 2nd qtr. Teaguey and some bommer involved in a marking duel. Both fell to the ground and Teaguey ended up with a scissor kick to the back of his head.

No replayover and over.
Perhaps Ch9 hadn't invited davids parents to be interviewed?

I don't dislike many opposition players in the AFL but Soloman is fast getting me more and more angry. He tried the same stunts in the WC.

HE IS A DEAD SET, LOW LIFE, SNIPING THUG!!!!!!!!!

The first attack was the head high attack on Teaguey. Cheap shot No: 1. Deserves 2 weeks.

2nd. The scissor kick to Teaguey's head was totally out of line and un-called for. Cheap shot No: 2.

3rd. An attack on Teaguey as he shepherd a team-mate Soloman ran in and ballantly tried to rip his head off. Cheap shot No: 3.

He is lucky Teaguey is a total ball player and one of the bravest playing the game otherwise he may lose some teeth on someother opponents. I'd like to see Soloman try the same routine to Archer, one of the Scott brothers or Pikey.

You're a sniping thug Soloman. Plain and simple. Lift your game.

Regards Cazzesman

Not to mention the poke in the eye that got Teague a free kick in front of goal in the last quarter. Solomon acted all innocent but the replay clearly showed his fingers in Teague's eye area.

The man's a gutless prick.

Teague is a legend - he is tough and flies the flag but never retaliates.

So would I, but he doesn't have the coconuts to take any of them on.

I'd say Bartel - Reckless, Medium contact, In play, Body - Level 2 offence

For tripping that's 125 points, and he'd get an extra 20% which'd all equal 1 week.

According to the new system tripping is as severe as "pushing a player over" and it's a whole 100 points less severe than striking.

That's awfully lenient

Anyone remember the day both Scott's took on Hulmey at OO a couple of years ago? The Pup didn't move an inch and I lost any respect I had for them

I keep waiting for someone in the media to highlight what Solomon did in this game....but nothing...

All the talk is about Rawlings for his hit on Williams ( was poor ) but at least they were scraping face to face...albeit on the ground.

Am I being to precious or one eyed or is there something wrong with the medias views on reportable incidents?...

We've had the Reiwolt "affair" highlighted over and over with every media scribe in the country having their say and if there's an incident where blood is spilt then everyone goes into a frenzy.

But if a player goes "head hunting" taking players out with elbows raised or knees into an opponent without that "victim" have any chance to defend themselves it's often ignored...I just don't understand..

Surely it's about time these type of "hits" were treated a lot more seriously by the media and the AFL tribunal..

Only because it's us.

Cazz, agree totally. Solomon is a thug. Plain and simple.

On Bartel, I didn't think it looked too bad - 1 week would be about right I reckon.

I thought the Bartel incident was accidental and was both players fault. How can he change direction when in the air? Will probably get 1-2 weeks though.
