Their half backs are running amok, our forwards need to tighten up.

True, but don't want to rely on Cameron missing 15 metre set shots for too long :)

Tackle didn’t stick, surely.

Yep. My worry is that we lack speed in our forward line, who is there to take on this role? Can't move Gov forward, he's sewing our defence together. Martin? Would take a lot out of our forward structure. Said it last week, at least one more athletic mid-size forward has to be our priority for next season.

And 3 of our goals from free kicks

Yeah but I Thought if you lose control of the bounce in a tackle then it doesn't matter how strong the tackle was, you're Gawn.

jeez hey ... we follow up our best qtr of finals footy, with our worst. mids aren't getting their hands on it, and we're not clean when we do. our pressure dropped right off.

our lack of foot speed really sticks out on the gabba deck. such a short ground. three solid kicks end-to-end. one big hoof out of the middle and it's deep in the forward pocket.

not sure where we go to from here. we look fatigued and on fumes in the last 10 of the 2nd. i'd love to see us try and run and carry, but not sure we got the legs for it

it's been one helluva ride. hope they can stick with it.

Yeah, I think you’re right. Just not sure they would have even deemed that a tackle? Who knows?

6 disposals to the captain. Plenty to whoever goes to him. Dunkley 17. Zorko then racks them up when Dunkley goes to the bench. If Cripps cant play, sub him out. We're not here to protect reputations.

Our midfield pressure has evaporated, need to reset and crack in hard again.

10 touches in the first quarter.
9 in the second.

Definitely on the slide…

tdk got strapped up, and is back out for the third qtr...

cerra needs to lift, cripps needs to break off from dunkley and charlie needs to impact the game more. i swear he's injured tho, he's barely running and looks slow when he does.

Give some credit to Brisbane too.

They are good.

Strong. Quick. Clean hands.

wow braithy, summed it up perfectly. but we werent playing badly, we werent allowed to play well, thats the difference. brisbane are faster and they clicked. we will either win or fold, but either way, its been a lotta fun

So McInerney approaches the umpire before the bounce to complain about being held in the ruck.

Guess what happens?
