I'm a massive fan (and he might come into the side yet), but he wasn't good last week. It was a droppable performance.

So...
have they made a very Specific call that Boyd has a better chance to stop Cameron?

If it's about that then I'll trust they know better. But "country road" better Not kick a bag.

I thought our taller backs would be the key. Not sure about dropping Kemp . Even less sure about keeping Marchbank.

Just read an article in Perth Now in apple news which came online after 3pm. Kemp talking about who he might be playing on. Tipping a late change.

There is ENORMOUS faith in Marchbank.

His inclusion over the latter part of the year has been during a period where our defence is very settled, very stingy, gaining confidence in a team gaining momentum.

Kemp on other hand came in when we were well and truly stuffed ACROSS the ENTIRE team.

I would keep Kemp and drop Marchbank.

March was the stronger link against Melbourne, maybe Sydney too. Kemp has had a great half season but form has dipped just a tad and I'm not sure who of the Brisbane forwards would have been the right match up for him. I've been thinking all week he was a chance of being dropped. Loving the fact we have so many more players worth a spot than spots available. Spare a thought for Dow and Fish who can't even make the emergencies.

Marcy reads the play better but has had butter fingers. Both tend to go to ground a bit easy for my liking. So does Hipwood for that matter so he and Marcy should match up well.

Kemp out - wow
Owies should get dropped I thought he was terrible last week
Thought Kemp did some goods things (and some poor things) but maybe sub?
Or Cunners sub?

Bloody hell tough changes - touch of ruthlessness - I like it everyone will go hard knowing when we win if they haven't gone hard they may just not be in the GF.

I was thinking exactly the same thing dannyboy.

Ya wanna play in a granny - Sat. does the trick, knowing if you mess up you miss.

Couldn't be greater motivation for all out efforts could there?

Cottrell and McGovern were worse than Owies and Kemp last week.
Just saying……

Some really tough calls this week, but the more I think about it the more I like it.

We will always back our clearance/contested power in on the inside, and H was 'guaranteed' (Voss' words) to play if fit. So with their small forward like our selection focus had to turn to fielding the fastest and cleanest side possible. I think Ollie, Martin and Boyd bring that over the players excluded.

Doch listed forward is just a quirk of the team sheet. I see us having named 4 genuine wingers who we plan to rotate constantly (including stints on the flanks/forward). If we get the system right we should be able to nullify Fletcher, Zorko, McCluggage etc which will go a long way to giving us a much needed edge on the outside.

Marchy over Kemp is the only choice I might have made differently. Huge vote of confidence in Marchy, lets see him repay the faith.

We can do this blues, BELIEVE

May had 10 intercepts last week voted Dee's best

May had 1 goal kicked on him
McGovern none

Hopefully Kennedy is sub, I think people forget how good he can be.

100%

Can't recall which game but he was the sub earlier in the year & he was brilliant.

That still might turn out to be the case. Cinc might drop out & Kemp comes in.

Rough call for Kemp and Owies.
But with the addition of Boyd and Hollands, Voss is clearly looking for more run in the hotter weather.
Personally I thought Hollands only went ok and was lucky he didn't get Doc wiped out with that kick last week.
And Acres almost hit the post from point blank, a lot of luck in that play (and in the whole game to be fair) and good to see we finally had the cards fall our way for once.
This week will be a whole different beast.
Not confident in the above selections but in Voss we trust.
Go Blues!!

We did have a bit of luck but I actually rate Melbourne higher than Brisbane.

Yep. McGovern turned over 3 goals. Not sure who you thought McG was on but ……. I’ll let it be here as I do like to watch the complete team.

Yeah, I'm still not getting it.

Owies our equal second highest goal scorer 27.12 with Harry 27.27 with 2 less games played.
Goal assists = 10, Harry = 11

Would Brisbane drop Cameron or Hipwood?
