I was in there too. Reckon Blues supporters were outnumbered 5-to-1, but thankfully we seemed to have an overwhelming majority, at the very least in terms of decibels, around the rest of the ground. My wife said to me last night will probably end up being noisier than a granny simply because there were far fewer neutral supporters last night. Unbelievable experience, even in the MCC

Seemed more of an even split on MCC ground level as old people aren't good at computers and stuff to get reserved seats

Atmosphere was amazing.

Extremely emotional game.
We did everything we knew not to do to lose it but somehow came through.

The Lions won't let us off the hook if we play the same brand of footy, we need to frenetic footy from the start.

With 15 min to go in the last my nerves were getting the better of me so I rushed from my seat on level 4 to the inner sanctum members dining room bar for an urgent drink and to watch the rest of the game standing up against the glass. As BH said 5:1 Melb Carl in there and they were flower filthy prob not helped by a bunch of us true believers going absolutely ape shit when Acres kicked the last goal. Got some dirty looks from several. Thought one old see you next Tuesday was going to swing one at me. What a win.
Absolutely gorgeous spring day in Melbourne today. If I’m not mistaken the sun seems to be shining a little brighter than usual

I have been to many finals over the years but aside from the GFs that was one of the best
That roar when Acres kicked the goal magnificent
What a great fighting come from behind win when we were on our knees

What made it special was I was with my daughters and son in law also a poster on these parts and we have been going for years and particularly the last 20 and we havent been too good to put it mildly
Told them to keep the faith for year it will turn they got this week the dividend for preserverance and loyalty
How brilliant to see their elation at the end of the game
Just a brilliant night and a night the sleeping giant really awoke
Enjoy everyone its been a long 20 years
To all those who have been on the journey in here for years and before that the Blue view savour one of our greatest finals wins enjoy every second
We have a football club to be admired
Other teams now fears us again

Thank goodness to early in the season our management and board finally stood up supported the coach took a deep breath and stared the malcontents down
Go Blues

It was frustrating to watch but to pull the win out from the jaws of defeat was in a way even sweeter than had we trounced the Demons. Melbourne had it and we stole it away at the last moment, it was @#$%&! beautiful!

TBC. I'm gonna replay the 4Q at the earliest opportunity to try to figure it out.

Incredible scenes! Barely slept after getting home from the match.
Like everyone else, amazing feeling in the stands... not sure I've seen anything like it.

Huge credit to Voss. At both quarter time and 3/4 time he clearly said the right things to get them fighting back when it was needed. He's built a culture and mentality in the team which doesn't give in anymore. We WIN close ones now!

And also huge praise for Motlop! He scored two freakish goals, and both were are moment when the game looked to be slipping away. I love the way that kid throws himself at the game, and we are a better team when he's sneaking a couple of goals in the match. He's going to be a star.

Still quite believe it!

We’ll woke up this morning with a little heavy head but what a night.
With half of our forward line missing and one of theirs, this game was a struggle of defences all night. Both forward lines struggled with any cohesion, so it was going to be about taking your chances and who had the momentum at the right time.
Our boys proved once again they don’t know how to quit. This win was about pure guts and determination.
So proud.

Ps. Definitely Frank. Great feeling

The crowd kept singing the song over and over while walking down from Q level of the Shane Warne stand after the game.

Imagine being a Dees supporter and being stuck in that after losing a game you should have won.

Suffer in ya jocks.

I think they Gawn hitting it into the post was the greatest cock up I have ever seen.
Firstly why did he even attempt to touch it in the first place.
Second the ball had crossed the line so regardless of the fact he hit it into post it should have been a goal.

If it crossed the line and then hit the post it's a goal. It's no different if the ball bounced over the line and darted back and hit the post.

Goal review gods have been kind to us.
It makes a welcome change

I’m the first to admit that I got a few things wrong a few months ago
Since the end of the first quarter against GC at the MCG the players have been magnificent
It all got better when Mathieson left
If you are a United club your half way there
If your not you have no hope
For the first time in nearly a quarter of a century the club supported the coach rather than sack him
Hey presto
The other thing I like is Voss won’t select blokes who are really soft or not up to it
Young
O’Brien
Plowman
Fisher to some degree
We have some hard footballers and it’s great to see others improve
It would be a surprise to beat Brisbane
But you never know
Let’s hope regardless Zorko and Daniher have shit games

Finally got some sleep.

Made easier around 3am when at last got confirmation we'd locked in the tickets - 5 of us heading for the Gabba!

Sen-fricking-sational!

We finally have something to rival the '99 Prelim.
But this time we deserve to be there - we've earnt it big time.

I've been saying for a couple of months now after the Port win that we would go all the way - even claiming that we would not lose another game.
Got that wrong - but we lost the Only one that didn't actually matter.

This is the Carlton of old reborn.

So glad to see everyone on here all believing again at last.

How @#$%&! GOOD is This?!

Any video or audio of the Blues-only radio (Sellers, Johnno etc)? I bet they went bananas in the last minute!

That brought a tear to my eye Frank. Brilliant.
I was at the game with my 30 year old son and 23 year old niece who are diehard and rusted on but have had almost zero success in their time but have hung in there. I don’t know how they’ve done it. At least I’ve witnessed 8 Carlton flags. Jack my sons only highlights in his whole life have been the 1999 prelim and the 2013 Judd Game elim against Richmond. Sad. Who would put a kid through that
However their unbridled joy at the finish last night was something to behold. I was crying hugging them because without supporters like that where would we be.
Need to bottle this moment
