Acres still in doubt for mine so he may be a late withdrawal and Hollands takes his spot..

Dow or Motlop as sub.

Looks like we’ve gone for big bodies

Smashball !!

The four outs are young or questionable for finals footy physical and mental pressure .

Marchbank worries me. His form has been poor

I would have played Motlop

Surely Dow has to be sub. Very unlucky

Personally, I think we are one small short at both ends. Would prefer another small running player in the back half. Newman may be too preoccupied with Papley to have his usual output and if they sit on Saad, we'll be lacking some run and carry.
Would have liked to see have seen Motlop back too (assuming he isn't still injured). With a wet a night and ball likely to spend a fair bit of time on the deck, his clean hands and goal nous would be invaluable.
Not thrilled with the selections myself but will get over it if we win.

Like others would have liked to see Motlop in the side, has that x factor. Marchy worries me too. I also think the side looks a little slow. Can't fit 'em all in, but a strong, tough player like Kennedy could be handy on a damp, windy, cold night. Ah well, in Voss we trust.

wow ... crazy. i don't like this team lol not just gone tall, but ultra tall.

imo

motlop not named is a big error in the wet, where opportunistic, ugly goals come to the fore.

and marchbank i'd have replaced for boyd. marchy isnt run and carry and support and his disposal isn't up to it in the dry, let alone what we're walking into tomorrow night.

Not bad when you consider Fisher Dow Motlop Hollands Boyd Kennedy Durdin Silvagni can’t make the side

Marchbank on the bench is a head scratcher for mine

Voss and MC have gone with their favourites imo, rather then getting the balance right.

two rucks and a bunch of talls when the ball will be on the deck all of the night? Hope i'm wrong but this has disaster written all over it.

they must think they can muscle the swans out of the contest, or there are going to be late changes. thats some very quick players dropped

marchy is strange when the swans dont have an overly tall forward line

yeah to pick the slowest team all year we've had is pretty huge. against the top turnover and scoring team in the comp.

yikes...

Starting to get a bit nervous now.
Looks like the weather may not be as bad as originally forecast.
Jane Bunn saying passing showers during the day and no rain after 9pm.

ducks and drakes?

feel like marchbank to come out, motlop to go in, pending weather confirmation.

tough for hollands, dow etc.. .. but i get it.

this is going to be a brutal contest. feels like we are backing ourselves in to win the contest (our biggest strength, swans weakness)

feel cunningham is abit lucky but side is probably as expected to be honest. just think marchbank for motlop makes more sense.

Cotters has a big game ahead of him!!

it's still gonna be very slippery and the ball will be like soap.

Cold tomorrow but not much rain. Conditions will be fine.

Lack of leg speed and run a concern. Hollands Dow & Motlop would be very handy

the bom are still saying possible hail, 40km/hr winds and 90% chance of rain.

either way, it's going to be hard to hunt the ball. i feel like we've blown it at the selection table

I am also worried about our lack of leg speed.
If it is slippery tomorrow night we will go into the game too top heavy.
