It will be interesting to see whether Voss brings Pitto back.
He was clearly trying some things in a dead rubber - he’ll know whether that worked overall for us or not. I feel like he’ll bring Pitto back in.
I like Kennedy as the sub if he is right to go. His impact as sub early on in our winning run was huge.
Marchbank could be a smokey to fill the gap if Acres is out. He can run and link.
I think Fisher is on shaky ground based on his performance against the Giants. Really not sure whether we’ll switch Fisher for Boyd. Similarly Cottrell/Cunningham on shaky ground.
In: Cripps, Docherty, Motlop, Pittonet
Out: Acres, Durdin, Cunningham, Marchbank
Sub: Kennedy
Voss like 2 rucks. I'd bet my house on it, unless Pitto is injured.
The argument from some posters that we play better with a smaller forwardline was played out for all to see yesterday.
Ball was bombed to Charlie. Other than Owies, smalls didnt have a big impact.
When Harry went in the ruck, Charlie was the sole target.
Didn't work out to be anything but a case against the small forwardline with 1 KP at times because we had 1 ruck.
I don't think Vossy liked the look of our team with Harry in the ruck. We need Pitto to bash and crash into opposition ruckmen, not Harry and not TDK, then have TDL spring into action at the end of quarters or for the final quarter, then sub Pitto off, if we need an injection of speed.
I think Marchbank is the smokey. That doesn't mean he will be selected, but he looked good yesterday, and we know he's a class player imo. I know some posters want to see Kemp in, and he deserves a shot too. We will see.
