If I'm not mistaken....

Last time we played Swans in a final at MCG was 1987. We won. Plus won flag.

Yeah , Sunday afternoon at the MCG and i was there. And i reckon history will repeat itself .

Correction . Yes , Rhino is right . It was 1986 . Anyhow , it was a Sunday afternoon and we won . Of course it was the next year in 1987 we won the Flag . Friggin" hot day it was . And Rhys had a blinder on Dermie .

When I broke my collarbone playing footy on Saturday I just thought it was bruised until I went to the doctor Monday afternoon after school and the X-ray revealed the break.

Edit: fracture, not break.

Football media doing their best to get players rubbed out pisses me off.

Chad Warner should get at least a week for a sling tackle

if boyd got three, that has to be one. it's a text book sling.

arms pinned and slinging motion to the ground. on another angle his head doesn't hit the ground hard, just kisses it. so who knows ...

i wouldn't complain if he got off, as long as weiters does too lol

Nah.
When I was younger I broke mine playing footy, full snap in half.
I got crunched by a fatty landing on me.
No drugs, not even Panadol, went to A&E and sat there for 30min and didn't even look like getting a sniff to see a doctor.
So I told the old man to go and tell them I was having trouble breathing and I'll do the rest.
As he went up to the counter I grabbed it and moved it out of place, I went all pale and started sweating.
They put me straight in to see the doc and gave me some Panadine Fort.
They wanted to cut off my jumper as it was on like a glove and I refused.
I went home a few hours later dropped 2 more and took my jumper off myself, then went to work the next day.
It was a dull annoying pain, but a whistle would've been over the top.
Was on Panadol for the next day and that was it.

Acres will be a big hole in our game.

Docherty is more than capable, but it’s been a three man job all year.

Cottrell is the third and has been for the past month or so.
Docherty only really played wing when Hollands was out injured. He can step into the role and do well. Doesn't have Acres toughness or overhead ability but his ball use is better so we don't lose much IMHO.

Boyd to be in for consideration to replace Fisher and I'd also consider Marchbank for Kemp. I thought Marchbank was very good when he came on. Kemp was poor IMHO.

Hate to say this, but without Silvagni we need Pittonet to play. TDK with H pinch hitting doesn't work.

Yep. Strongly leaning towards bringing Pitto back. H needs to spend pre season working on his ruck craft amongst other things but can't go into a final with him as back up ruck.

Really? I liked it. I thought TDK was close to our best and McKay (although rusty) got involved more. In a game where we didn't really try I thought the signs were good.

Against Hickey & Mclean this week I would continue with it
