Not beyond realms of possibility that we play aints week 1. Giants beat us and make up 2% they go above aints. Swans win and then aints drop to 8th.
Yep. That would be a far from ideal outcome

Melbourne are going to have very little incentive to win. Lose & they stay in 4th, win & they potentially go up to 3rd & travel to the Gabba

Sydney have a lot more to play for

True, but after seeing what NM and WCE have done the past few weeks, I think these blokes just want to win all the time. Except * who are just pathetic.

If Richmond win Melbourne will absolutely toss their game.

Why would they want to play in Adelaide when a loss keeps them home against a wounded Collingwood.

Shit final round scheduling AFL - you thought you were being clever but you actually [REDACTED] it right up.

They wouldn’t play in Adelaide, they’d have Brisbane in Brisbane

Of course jake - you're dead right. I hadn't had a coffee yet.

But, even better - "Why would they want to go and play in Brisbane?"
If Port lose, dees will toss it.

Agree. For them finishing 4th is the same as finishing 1st really.

Port have to travel either way and they'd quite possibly rather play the MCG than GABBA.

But if they lose then they're relying on Melbourne to win and if you were the Dees you'd tank to avoid going to Qld.

Well that's that.

No more number crunching required.

The road to the flag: GWS, Dogs, Filth, Gabba, Dees in GF

I'd like to see your workings on that

We really need to make the top 3 to avoid playing the Swans in Sydney (assuming they come first).
With the recent drop off in form of GWS and the Demons there is a good chance of this happening.
