Very interesting dropping Pittonet. I know Voss likes one ruck (so do I) but without Jack and Young playing poorly I thought he would have gone with Two. Means Harry can Ruck which I love. I think he can be a Joe Daniher type

Missing Doc Cripps but a very very good side

Also interesting that Hollands isn't deemed in need of a rest.
Must be confident that he's holding up ok, or conversely he'll be earmarked to make way for one of the resting guys to return

i love this team. it's built to run and pressure and swarm

in saying that... we really do miss sos right about now. the perfect guy to chop in and spell tdk, and he's a capable forward in that he does the team things time and time again and clears space for charlie. and with sos, we don't miss too much run.

does this mean harry will ruck? if not H, who?

He was injured not long ago and missed 6 weeks

Harry in the ruck has got PCL written all over it.

How many second rucks have done a PCL?

It’s made Joe Daniher a much more influential player

I love it

Maybe we'll get a surprise... Kemp as the 3rd tall/2nd ruck hybrid, like JSOS but on the defensive side? Who knows. I think it could be ruck by committee this week. Should be fun anyway. I like how the AFL site is blaring "huge Blues blow!!" about Cripps being out, as if we're not all @#$%&! chuffed he's being told to kick up his heels.

I’m with you Farmer. Until TDK and Pitto can impact the game when they’re not playing ruck, we’re essentially playing one short. Taking up 1 of 22 positions in the team to take half the ruck contests and contribute nothing doesn’t make sense to me

7 years x 800k for a decoy forward?
We don't know if Harry will be relieving ruck but if he is, perhaps he has suggested it. He has played well below his best as a forward all season so perhaps he can see an opportunity to have a real impact in another role. I doubt it will occur but if it does, fantastic. I hope it is a huge benefit to him and the team.

Full Sunday teams to land at 5pm.
Expecting Patrick Cripps to miss for Carlton against GWS. The Blues prioritising his fitness for finals after dealing with rib damage in recent weeks @7NewsMelbourne

as soon as we named dow in the starting team, i knew cripps would miss. this is really good and really smart from the club imo

really smart.

promoted Dows spot in the 18 and continued with that till the last minute.

I'm relieved, like most of us, Cripps isn't playing injured with not much at risk with Walsh & Cerra back in.
Having said that 10 in a row is better than 9 in a row. Nah...we will get there. GWS played their Grand Final last week.

14 in a row is the target for 2023, and Dow's played a big role in that.

What a great picture for Dow, let alone the public, and well deserved too. Best 18.
If he's set to leave, he will, but this run of victories is something like WOW, for WOW DOW.

Dow will be playing for a spot in the Finals team, with Cripps and Doc back.
This has got great performance and a win written all over it.

Looks like Harry as 2nd ruck is the message from Voss.
This will be fascinating. Circa 2023 Twists and Turns.

I have a hunch Harry will kick close to a bag if not a bag. Just sayin.

I reckon we win and win well.
There are a lot of players in that side who know one off performance will cost them the chance to play in a huge final the following week. I expect intensity.

I reckon the MC heard you BV, and Farmer...

Looks like he's evolving before our eyes.

As Max Smart said "I see it but I don't believe it!"

What a surprise. I love it. So not Vossy to go 1 ruck let alone just 2 KPFs.

Lets see what evolves before the Finals curtain lifts.

Much better. My only concern is 2nd ruck.
