Would be nice if they put some of their senior players on ice now.

In other words DC got penalised for a perfectly executed tackle by some clown 50m away while the officiating umpire 10m away with a perfect view had no issue with it. This level of incompetence then cost us a crucial goal in a close and tense final quarter.
Will the media raise this or are they still too busy whinging about Peteacca's point?

Good, I was a bit worried about that one.

How good is it when you struggle to think who should come out of the side for Walsh/McKay/McGovern etc

Voss needs to ensure the players go 110% this weekend.
We don't want to lose this and then have to beat GWS in the final round who could potentially also be playing for a finals berth.
We need to be going full tilt to win against GC.
In many respects, the GC game is the most important game of Cripps and Doc's careers, because here is an opportunity against a side that has nothing to play for and for which if we win these 2 guys finally get to play finals.
Let's make sure we qualify this weekend.

If Walsh and Cerra are available, you'd have to think that the once likely to make way come from Hollands, Cottrell, Cuningham, Dow and Fogarty. Of those I'd say Hollands and Cottrell would be most likely to make way if it's like for like. If Doc is fit he plays, he can have a rest in two weeks time.

Exactly... It's not like our team has been caught napping over the past 8 weeks!

Not easy is it?

Hollands has been very good and his running is needed
Cottrell doing his job at HF and can lock down
Fogarty is vital to take pressure off in midfield rotations
Cuningham has been solid without being outstanding bhut his clean hands and pace add a lot
McGovern fit defintely replaces Marchbank for me

Do we give Doc a rest?
Boyd was BOG in Reserves and is a better defender than Fisher but Fisher has added some run. Cincotta has been good as well and getting better

I have NO bloody idea what we will do

I think McKay, Walsh, Silvagni are in.
I think out will be Docherty (else Fogarty or Cottrell), Ed and Pitto - my preference is to go a little taller and keep Pitto (ruck/bench)

Newman Weitering Kemp
Cincotta Marchbank Saad
Acres Cripps Hollands
Cuningham Curnow Owies
Silvagni McKay Martin
TdK Hewett Walsh
Cottrell Fogarty Fisher Motlop

For mine….

additions would be…”in order of importance over
thee next two weeks”…Walsh…Cerra…Boyd…McGlovin…
Harry…Durdin…Sos…!

i know it doesn’t sound fair on Sos…but the most
important thing he brings is effort…well…it’s fair to
say it’s what EVERYONE is bringing right now…!

kindest regards tommi

yeahidon’tknowwhotodropeither….!

The outs sure are tough. From within the club there may be a feeling as to some players who could do with a rest given the slightly short turnaround and travel issues, perhaps that will open up some room. They say Doc got a bit of a kick on the calf before 3QT and decided to sub him off but not immediately, which would suggest not too major, but wouldn't risk him if there is any concern.
