Nah, that's incorrect. If Weitering committed those infringements, he'd be called for all of them.
Everyone seems to forget Moore was lucky to not be called for a blatant arm around the neck earlier in the game. A 100% free kick. Except the umpires were unsighted. Or do we only count the ones that suit?

In truth Charlie gets a fair amount of frees.
It's just that it's unusual to get so many in one game.
We cannot rely on that silver service from the maggots every week.
Charlie will really earn his keep this weekend. Expect Ross to clamp down on us big time.
TDK will need to do a bit more up forward. Really needs to impose himself a bit more.
Charlie has kicked 10 and 6. He is due a quiet one..

Time to unleash the 'Cun in the midfield..

Both will spend time in the midfield.

I read that gaining territory was the order from Voss in the last quarter, and Dow gained metres.
He was usually ahead of the opponents and running past them in his clearances; not much short to connect with.

If he can balance out his game between handballing too much, or kicking too long, he will please the in between supporters.

He's going fine. He's a depth player, asking for very little to stay on the Carlton list because he believes in himself.
Dow is 24yo this year. If he keeps growing as a footballer imo he is a good long term investment, and may give a club (maybe us), 5 years of great service for chips.

Nah, he's due for 14.
He will get more frees paid than in the past, since the cameras have replayed what goes on every game against Moore, the best in the business.

If Charlie doesn't kick 14, he may share 6 of those with Martin and TDK. The rest will be shared by Owies, Motlop, Cottrell and Cunners.
We are going to win this week. And we are going to bruise them more than they are.
Hit on Sinclair: team effort. Watch them collapse.

Steele and Couch have to get the ball to accumulate or they will be following Hewett's and Crippa's arse all day.

Pittonet Hewett Docherty
Dow Fogarty Cincotta Motlop
Sub: Fisher(?)

Still good enough to beat StKilda.

AFL injury Report and whose in the Mix

Quote:
St Kilda could regain Max King just a month after he dislocated his shoulder in round 17. The 23-year-old will need to prove his fitness later in the week but is a chance to face Carlton on Sunday. Bradley Hill is on track to play after missing the win over Hawthorn on Sunday. Tim Membrey returned in the VFL and could be in line for a recall. Jack Hayes has now played two VFL games and a practice match and could be ready for another chance at AFL level after recovering from a knee reconstruction. Nick Coffield and Tom Highmore were both impressive in the VFL on Saturday. - Josh Gabelich

R20 sub: Jade Gresham (replaced Zak Jones)

Will Gresham make the Best 23 with Cooper Sharman has being cleared of serious damage after the club thought he had strained his hamstring at Marvel Stadium on Sunday.

Sharman played on Sicily, subduing the star defender while kicking two goals of his own. Hill will come in for Jones imo. Who comes out for King after Caminiti was cleared to play?

Jones is out for the rest of the season. I'm afraid Gresham's spot in the Bset 23 is precarious. Good depth for Saints to have up their sleeve for Sub

After missing three games after dislocating the shoulder he had reconstructed in December, King is pushing to return against the Blues this weekend.

King has been earmarked and prepared for this do or die Finals like game vs Carlton. He underwent an arthroscope on his shoulder after dislocating it in round 17.

Let me say that again. Dislocation, Arthroscope, misses 3 games and returns after 4 weeks. Confirms my thoughts on Harry McKay's return as early as the Melbourne game, and should be the GCS and GWS games.

I love Cottrell in the team, along with Hollands. Both give us Speed and Stamina to keep things ticking over.

I'm liking this acceptance of Docherty as a midfielder.
He was a first round pick in 2011 as a midfielder. Must know something about the position.
How could we doubt him?

I know he's an AA HBF, but he's also good on a HF, great on the wing since our resurgence, and when in the middle, he's done really well.
Dominated Daicos boys at times and even DeGoey in the centre square last week.

Smart footballer, and very strong for his size. He's ours and we are coming for a full strength Saints outfit, with one hand tied behind our back (missing Walsh Cerra Kennedy Harry Boyd Silvagni).

Come on.

Sub will be from

Quote:
Jack Carroll (28 disposals, one goal) was among the best in the VFL, while Jaxon Binns (32 disposals, 11 marks) and Zac Fisher (30 disposals, four clearances) also impressed.

afl.com.au

I would add Young as the only tall available for Emergency at the very least. VFL has a bye this weekend.

Don't agree with this.
His penchant for just throwing it on the boot has been evident over the journey. He lacks poise. He's nowhere near the talent of our better mids.

This makes no sense.
Just because one team is desperate doesn't mean we need to be.

Just read the VFL Report for last week:

Jaxon Binns: 32 Disposals, 11 Marks

This Kid has been getting 30+ for weeks now... how long are we going to ignore giving him a Game? Surely he deserves a go, even though the timing might not be ideal...

He might be much better than Dow....who knows? I am just worried that if he keeps getting ignored, he might request a trade elsewhere next year!

I'd like to see him get a chance, but he's extended until 2026 so that side of it isn't a concern.

Dow auditioning for the Saints, Gresham auditioning for us?
I very much doubt King will play but if he does, I doubt he will be able to do much except possibly play a decoy role.

Finally, I do thinkCharlie gets a lot of frees but that is because opposition players crap themselves when they’re against him and the ball comes in their direction and often do something illegal just out of desperation.

I was getting nervous, but the more I think about it, I can't see the Saints getting much past Weitering.

This will be their GF, I would expect all three of King, Membrey and that @#$%&! downhill skier Hill to play.

I'd be testing Hill and King out in the first 10 minutes.

How long's Membrey been out for? Surely he's finally due for a quiet one against us.

Same here - I'm expecting a close match.
The Saints love playing us at Marvel and our midfield could struggle without both Walsh and Cerra.
