Whatever the case, they're all playing good footy and it's good to be winning.

That's the Ticket.

How good is it when the bottom 6 are playing nearly as good as the top 6?
Have seen that before....well...maybe like you, 1995..99, 2000, false dawns otherwise.

Boys are all up.

True.

We have a few in reserve after Motlop and Dow: Young, Pitto, Cowan, Hollands, Binns, Honey.

No point in risking Cerra... give him a week to rest....

If I was Voss, I would experiment a bit. I would bring in both Marchbank and Young and then move Gov up forward as a 2nd main Forward.

I like.

I didnt realise Cerra had a problem.

Binns is a Gun and has been on Fire in the VFL... would love to give him a game BUT is this the time for experiments and giving new players a go?

We need to win and then win Big to boost our Percentage... I say only make the forced changes and keep the momentum.

I dont think we need to expose Binns even though deep down I know he looks ready to unleash in an organised game plan, especially this one. He's quick off the mark. Like Durdin, and young.
Weagles is the game to expose him if it needs to be...for team first, club second and him third.

Marchbank should be top of that list

True, but I didnt want to highlight my bias and man love of Marchy. Gosh I hope he gets a go soon, like he did late last year, and he was a handy addition back then with his marking and kicking a highlight.

Marchbank could be a bloody good player but he can't get on the park. He's nearly 27 and played 52 games. I'd delist him, give him pre season and if gets through give him a one year rookie deal otherwise delist. We need fit players and have enough to play his role

But he’s on our list right now and available. Why not play him and see if he can get through the remainder of the season? Can always rookie him like we did with Kennedy after that. After seeing Charlie come back the way he has I still have faith Marchy can make it

How long do we persist with Marchbank and Cunningham though? I mean Cunningham is doing ok and adds something different, but do we risk signing him again. Wish we can put them on the rookie list easily and keep them.

But we need to improve the list and cant keep on carrying injury prone players.

Its a tough one !! We cant risk not getting games in the young ones and they end up leaving to get opportunities elsewhere to hold list spots open for injury prone players hoping it clicks and they become good again.

I too wish you could move a player to the rookie list. Would make life far easier (though said player may not agree).
For me, if DC stays on the park for the rest of the year, I'd give him a year with triggers for another.
Marchy, I'm far less inclined to keep and would probably delist. Would consider a rookie spot if nobody then picks him up provided he plays out the season without getting another injury.

So, as it stands - out of this week's team:

Owies is out, Harry is out.

Cerra is a test. (I'd rest him.)

And as for possible replacements:
Pitto is a week-to-week proposition and Fisher is a test.

Everyone else is either longer-term injured or available.

Agree with both posts.

I'm not relying on Marchy anymore. I'm leaving him to the MC, Russell and the specialists.

Would be delighted if we could at least rookie him, but not holding my breath.

I've seen enough now that I don't want to see two rucks again. It's TDK or Pittonet and TDK is in and playing well (last week)

Jack as 2nd ruck with Young as back up is the go

The issue for Marchbank is he doesn't fill a role we desperately need filling. Just sad he can't get on the park as he can play
I'd trial him over pre season and give him a rookie spot if he gets through
