hawks like to move ball quickly ,switch play ,go fast to there leading fwds ,we will see how our team stands up even though we have the bye and match committee can watch the family club play and plan for our game means nothing cause all year we have had the advantage to watch opposition play before we play them and still get BEATEN

Yes one of the most disappointing things is getting beaten by what you know is coming and haven't adequately prepared for - and that is Carlton 2023 time and time again.

I think it is time for Bins to be given a run and Dow a full game. Hewett can gather some more match fitness and form in the reserves - and only come in if and when one of Dow Cripps and Kennedy goes out - we can't run all 4 in the team they are too slow. And Ed Curnow is in the same boat, but I think for Ed save for a farewell game at the end of the season he should only be considered if we have a very specific tagging job on someone who is not quick.

And Cripps/Dow/Kennedy should not all be in the middle at once - again speed is the issue. I think all 3 can be on ground at the same time if one of Cripps or Kennedy is up forward as a third marking option, which is quite feasible. With McGovern showing something down back last week I'd keep him there rather than swing him forward from the start but he or Kemp forward is an option in the course of the match. Don't believe i n giving a debutant the subs vest or even starting them on the bench - I just think it gives nerves the time to take hold. Give Binns a start on a forward flank in my view, Dow in the guts and Kennedy starting down forward. Tough call who to make sub, but don't want it to be Dow or Binns.

Absolutely ... a bit more imagination from the selection committee.

Question for MCC Members.
Just wondering what the current rules are about Members once they get into the ground.
Are Members allowed to sit in the GA areas or do they have to stay in the Members area?
I recall in about 2008 when my wife was an MCC member, she would go into the MCG and then meet me and our kids in the GA area.
Can MCC Members still do this?
Thanks in advance.
Go Blues!

I am not sure but I sit in M50 at the MCG. This is next to the MCC members area. There are attendants on the gate who give passes to members wanting to use the toilets which are near me. I would imagine you can get into the MCC members and then leave via this gate in the Olympic stand and then enter the GA area.

We spanked Suns
Suns spanked Hawks

Now expecting Hawks to spank us.

Feels stupidly inevitable

Yes, MCC members can enter the ground via gate 2 and then cross into the public reserve. An MCC attendant at the gate you cross at usually gives you a pass-out in case you want to return to the MCC.

Very keen to see Binns in. He has earned it
So impressive at VFL, his running is elite and he can find it. His disposal is getting better all the time. Lot of similarities between he and Hollands but I feel Binns doesn't get knocked off the ball as much at this stage.

Dow getting a full game would be good. Hope we stick with only 2 of Cripps Kennedy & Hewett

Binns and Hollands are the same light weight.

I’m confident the boys will have used the break to tighten things up.

It seems that club has a very different view of what the boys get up to on their break!
