blue girl danielles is good but with a white monogram instead

or we just go with the good ol monogram (farewell game) and tell them to go eff themselves on the colour change !!

I would also suggest that the club is kept informed of both the competition and the poll. Even better maybe those of you with connections down there might get the club to agree to support this process and advertise on the official site for people to go online and vote. This way we will get the consensus of thousands of people and end up with a great second strip. The club also will be able to lodge our design with the AFL before other clubs who are resisting the change.

I am happy to get the ball rolling if someone volunteers to work with the club. I am a regular on TC, TBV and CSC. I am also the same username on all 3 forums. Maybe one of you could get BF involved as well. :roll:

We need one of you techno boffins to post the suggested designs once submitted. What do you guys think? :wink:

It's a nice theory. I suspect if the club gave it some life it would be run through carltonfc.com.au, which is probably fair enough. In the past I've contacted the club with alternate jumper designs and the silence has been deafening in return. Doesn't mean they're not thinking about it mind, but shows that there's not a hell of a lot of enthusiasm in engaging with the members on the topic.

001 and Bluegirldanielle get my vote - the silver is the classiest addition to the white and navy blue.

PS The club should decide whihc way to go and just do it - asking the supporters to vote on the jumper colours and design would be a nightmare!

Actually, for what it's worth from an old fuddy duddy like me who hates change and particulary our jumper, this is definitely one of the better ones.

This is an opportunity for the club to be progressive and aggressive, and so far, only Jarusa's suggestion has any merit. All the other proposals don't recognise what a great opportunity this is.

For those who deride alternate (or alternative) strips as being money-grubbing measures, can I suggest we get a grip on reality. Unfortunately, our club lives in a highly competitive environment, so whether we like it or not, we have to look for all possible incremental revenue sources.
