Can I suggest Motlop spend more time at VFL level learning the craft of small forward

can I also suggest Motlop spend more time at home looking at footage of good small forwards

Can I also suggest Motlop spends less time on his f@#$%^&^& podcast

Leon Cameron had no issue dropping his captain when his form dropped off.
No reason why we shouldn't do the same.
Like all, love Crippa but he is a liability and has been most of the season.
Not only doing little himself, his direct opponent has been amongst their better or best players in a number of games this season.
He is either cooked, not 100% fit and needs a rest or has issues with the coach and game style. Whatever it is, he should not be playing.

I remember Ross Lyon dropping Dal Santo and Milne (I think) back in 2008.

Don't get me started on Motlop

Has literally done nothing for two years

How he gets picked every week is beyond me

The being young argument wore thin a long time ago

How would any young small forward go in our side?

The most disappointing aspect of yesterday was Jaxon Binns being the 24 th best player( according to the club) therefore didn’t kick a footy in anger because he was stripped in the rooms just in case Blake Acres ripped a hammy in the warmup
Surely Binns and Cowan play next week

84k is a brilliant crowd for a team that's lost 6 on the trot. Well done to all the idiots who went along.

What % of the crowd did we have?

one thing i wanted to see was our fwds provide 110 % pressure well we saw how that went (again). Basically the players are not good enough and our system /game plan once again failed and i dont buy into 52 inside 50 bullshit ,we are in big trouble our list is ageing with no rewards only 1 person can help club Nick Austin and co better nail those picks and trades

It was the quietest 84k crowd I’ve ever been in .
The team gave nothing 3 goals to half time is a disgrace but unfortunately the new normal….

The ball doesn’t get deep enough into 50 for any pressure and when it does it’s a 2 on 1
Most of our shots are from 40+or wide. We have little to no composure at HF

Who do they replace?

I was one, but don't consider myself an idiot, just enjoy going to watch the team play and hope for a good performance. If we'd kicked straight we would have won.

Motlop should have been developing his game in the twos

He wasn’t ready for an extended stint in the seniors

Not saying he won’t make it but our dysfunctional forward line can be partly attributed to our poor small forwards

Cripps has had 1 good season in 3...I don't want to hear the "he's playing injured" angle

If he's injured, he puts his hand up FOR THE GOOD OF THE TEAM.

Hell. Prestagiacomo put his hand up that he wasn't 100% and missed being a premiership player

Cripps is a liability on the field and god only knows what he is off the field

2019-He had an average first half and better second half...mmm
2020-Good year if I recall
2021-Got worse and worse as the year progressesd...mmm
2022-Standout, Brownlow Medallist
2023-Shocker...mmm

There's a trend there

And he's been putrid for the whole year...so we go back to my first suggestion...stop being gifted games...he is a passenger

Correct...simple solution...go back to the VFL for rest of the year (now I know that's Voss' job so don't me started on selection integrity)

Don't care who they replace him with...hell, I'd even take Plowman as a mature body/lock down HF as a trial

It’s funny everyone hates on Plowman he is the least of our problems. if you look at the games we won last year he was in most of them.
Not every player needs to be a star just need stats just need experience around them.
